True. They're roosters on the internet, but in real life (or when they're caught) they're chickens. Before social media, we didn't have a clue of how malicious and cruel a person could be, and how many of them could be in the world. But now that the Internet has such an amazing expansion that like everyone has Internet, we now realize that everything you say or do could be looked under a microscope. And there are people who take the freedom of expression way too serious, and they're not afraid of tearing you down and make you feel guilty for who you are, and for what you think or do (when what you are, think or do isn't something bad, harmful, criminal or that could violate the rights of others or discriminate somebody else, so you shouldn't feel guilty 'bout it), and they don't care if they go too far with the things they say, and are oblivious of the impact and the effects their comments can have on others. And most of the time, they do it because they're insecure, they hate themselves and hate their lives, they don't have any education or respect, they don't have any humanity and don't act in a civic way. And the only way they find to face their inner crap, is bringing others down to feel good about themselves and to feel superior. And I know that if we feel bad, we would be giving them the power of making us feel bad because that's what they expect. And that's true for the one hand. But on the other hand, I think that if we apply that "power-giving"-thing to everything constantly, we would be taking responsability away from the abusers and bullies, because they make others feel bad. And I think, people who lead their victims to suicide, are murderers, because somebody died 'cause of them. Most people take advantage of being behind a computer or a cell-phone, and being behind a username and a profile photo (or lack of profile photo) to say things that, maybe they wouldn't be able to say them right into your face. That shows that, besides of being insecure, they're also cowards.

Went through all that and still sets a beautiful example of how to live. 2) She says she felt bad about bringing the other girls down, but I bet if you asked each of them, they would not see it that way. They would see it as their opportunity to support a dear friend and glad they could be there for her. 3) 12:08 Roman Kemp is a whole mood. I already knew about the cyberbullying and pain Jesy went through, but when I watched the documentary and she delved into shocking details like her deep depression and that she attempted to commit suicide, it was so horrifying to hear. Most people tend to think that when you're in the music or acting industry, you're a happy-go-lucky person without a single care in the world, and that's not entirely true. There are artists that go through mental illnesses: Ariana Grande suffers from PTSD and panic attacks; Demi Lovato suffers from bipolar disorder, eating disorders, anxiety and she's recovering from addictions, and also was depressed from a very young age and fascinated with death and had suicidal thoughts, and also suffered from self-harm; Jim Carrey apparently suffers from depression; Jesy, well, we all know what she went through. I think no one knows what happens when the cameras are off or when the show is over, and no one knows what happens behind closed doors. And I think no one knows how bad a person could be feeling unless they show signs of it or unless they just say it. It was horrible to watch a documentary about a woman you admire who always displays a funny, cheerful, strong and confident personality, falling apart and suffer because of abusive people who are insecure and hate themselves and need to bring others down to feel good about themselves. I think those people are oblivious about the effects and the impact their words and actions can have on others, and most of the time, it's because they don't give a damn about it, and because they're selfish, and they don't realize the consequences. And most of the time, the abusers don't take any responsability and play the victim when they're caught or when they're called out. Sometimes when you read a malicious comment, at first you think they hate you or are against you, but then you realize that most of those malicious comments just scream insecurity, attention-seeking and self-hatred, and they're trying to project their inner shit in others so they can feel the same.

Yeah I agree with all of this. Being constantly in the public eye with people always commenting about you and judging you must be so difficult. I know lots of other celebrities go through that too (like Jade and Taylor Swift with eating disorders and I think Halsey suffers from bipolar disorder) and I think it it really inspirational that Jesy shared her experience. I am so proud of her.

I honestly don't think they won. I think Jesy made the decision for herself. I know that they made her mental health decline but she made the right decision to step down if she wasn't feeling happy and excited to be in the group.
