Top notch "how to". If anyone questions the bagging & tagging it is necessary. Unless you're a porsche mechanic & do this job many times you will forget where something goes.. It is not impossible w/o bagging but time consuming. I like the zip lock & sharpie don't normally document steps but that sounds very useful. It is a joy when you put a job this size back together without a hitch. This video is professional quality, from the sound to the presenter again top notch thanks a lot.

Wow! I'm replacing the motor in my Boxster--this is an incredible project! Thank the lord for air tools and electric impact tools. Thanks for making this series!

@@brianlamberts756 poor man's answer? All kinds of scissor type affairs for 1000 to 1500 ....way better than floor Jack's and jack stands but of course falling short (literally) of premium lift

Thanks for putting these videos up as I appreciate the effort it takes. My only feedback is that the music is too loud in the mix and sometimes you can't hear what the guy is saying. I don't think you need it and it's a bit distracting to be fair. I'm keen to see more videos though!

I agree in principle but here I didn't find it that distracting, much better than a rattletrap w lame jokes at least.

Megan, I don't have a personal list, but I use a workshop manual (WSM) from www.workshopmanuals.co.uk in conjunction with personal notes along the way.

As an owner of a Boxster S and a lover of rock music, I should enjoy this, but I can't. The music distracts me from listening and hearing. Known as the Irrelevant Sound Syndrome, rock music especially detracts from intelligent concentration on technical matters. I don't know if is dubbed or being played in the workshop, but would ask if it can be got rid of in future, please

Maintenance is a b****tch on this little beauty putty pie. Just junk design and hugely unreliable.
