Modification to the first airlift below. I found a larger radius pipe like yours and fitted it. Shortened the airlift to match my tank, now 30cm from top to bottom. Airlift is positioned 1cm from the bottom of the tank and the outlet is 1cm above the water level. New flow rate 400 litres / hour. This is awesome, I will be using this with a Corner Matten Filter in my first stage Guppy Fry Tank. This tank is only 28l so I have more than sufficient flow, I may need to turn the flow down. I will be making 4 more for my 68l main Guppy Fry Growing tanks. These are 5cm higher but there will still be enough flow. This is awesome, many thanks.

A bending spring is available for electrical conduit such as this used in the video. It's very easy to use.

Der gedrehte Ist super zum bemalen, da kann man bestimmt super nen Baum daraus machen, mit ein paar Ästen, Moosen und anubias lässt sich das bestimmt super integrieren! Danke fürs zeigen :D

Ganz ohne Dellen geht es fast nicht, aber man kann diese Elektro Rohre besser biegen. Feinen Bausand ohne Hitze einfüllen bis das Rohrstück komplett voll ist, wobei man alle 5cm den Sand stopfen sollte. Besser geht sogar Bausand mit Lehmanteilen (Baustoffhandel) .

use a sping tube bender you wont get so many kinks. it is insterted in the pipe you bend it the after cooling you pull it out

What if the holes are in a spiral fashion?

Hi. I made an airlift this morning. I copied the model with the spiral holes and had 4 rows of holes each with 6 x 1.0mm holes (24 in total). The lowest row of holes was 2cm from the bottom of the inlet tube. My airlift total length from one end to the other is 35.5cm. I measured the flow and get a flow rate of 164 liters/hour.

What is the total height that the water can be lifted? I need to lift water about 180 cm (70 inches) - do you think this would work?

Hallo Jungs, tolle Sache mit den vielen Luftpumpen. Was ziehen die eigentlich an Strom? Und wozu das Ganze? Jede doofe, im wasserlaufende Magnetpumpe aus China bringt Eure Leistung! Angst das die Ansaugöffnung der Pumpe sich zusetzt? Der Luftheber muss doch auch gesichert werden? Die Lautstärke, sofern man bei einer im wasserlaufenden Pumpe überhaupt sprechen kann, ist gleich Null. Und zappelt tut die auch nicht! Auch müssen keine Rückschlagventile verbaut werden. Was soll das Ganze? Übrigens habe ich in den 70 gern mit einem Autoreifen unter dem Bett geschlafen. Ratet mal warum? Das spart übrigens auch das Fitnessstudio ...Wenn ihr meine Zeit fesseln wollt, dann müsst ihr auch Werte benennen. Hannes
