We should aim to do rapid progress in Aviation sector. Countries like Korea and Turkey seem to have done better progress than us. It is a shame that with such a large scientific base in terms of number of scientist and depth of our industries we are not able to do better.

in most countries, private sectors develop aircrafts. Had the government started MRFA a few years ago, the Indian collaborator would've learned a lot by now, and confidently enrolled for AMCA

Ye company hamare desh ke best scientist ko apne yaha rakhe to ye bade engines par bhi kaam kar payenge. Hale 30 KN fir 50 KN fry thrust wale engines par is company ko kaam karna hai. Sarkari companies se mein jayada oomeed nahi karta.

@AlphaDefense Do you agree ? If we assume that for every EL/M-2075 PHALCON AWACS We need fighter jets ( Combat patrol ) with them to protect them Because AWACS will be very desired target for enemy so for its protection, Active deployment of fighter jets will be needed Assuming that AWACS has endurance of 8 hours And for its total flight time of 8 hours their is presence of Fighter jet needed Fighter jet endurance= 3 hours , ( no external fuel tanks & + extra counter weapons against Air to Air missiles & others ) So for 1 fighter jet to be present during 8 hours of AWACS flight We need 3 fighter jets to protect the AWACS So if at minimum 3 fighters are present simultaneously We will need Total fighter jets= 3× 3=9 Reserve fighter jets in case their is some problem= 3 So for 1 AWACS we need 12 fighter jets + Few other jets because it is easy to maintain & fly AWACS ( Boeing / modified transport aircraft ) in continuous flight BUT NOT Fighter jets They will need more repairs & maintenance These fighter jets have to be dedicated ONLY for protecting a BILLION DOLLAR AWACS ! If assuming a War It should be minimum 60 days assumption with no foreign supply of Spare parts !!

Better invest more funds in public companies and make them more independent. Private companies don't want to invest in R&D but want to benefit via increase profits in the expense of tax payers, basically revdi.

Ya, at least they are making some progress in jet engines especially from private sector. 😅😅because even USA, France, Russia, UK took so many years to develop full fledged fighter jet engine technology. It's really an elite club because even China couldn't make its place among that group.

It is funny, how these small toy engines are being sold on ecommerce websites in other countries, I am a aircraft model enthusiast, and you can buy these engines from many many companies, also, you can see many amateurs on youtube, who have made extremely decent attempt at making these type of engines, Actually if you can salvage an old refrigerator or other machinery's compressor, even you can give it a shot !!! The problem is making large scale commercial grade engines, I do not think this is even a start

@@ashoktwinn No private company can invest in such money consuming project.. Govt has to fund it. Even American govt funded both Lockheed Martin and Boeing for developing 5th gen jet program of YF22 and YF23.

There should be a clause in the contract for supply of spare parts for 20!years and The company should perform for ,20 years.r spending so much on research and development of engines has reached no where First of all govt should root out those white elephants sticked on with fevicol to their chairs. Make a thorough analysis of the quality and qualification of those people and whos performance is not upto the mark bid good bye Precious hard earned money of the tax payers should not be wasted. Modiji is trying to indiginise everything but a force may be working to sabotage it like the newtons third law. If center takes any action for the benefit of the country it will get overwhelming support
