I got one of the first ones. The switch was in the volume knob position and vise versa. I stripped it, filled the holes, and relocated the volume knob.and added a push/push tone pot. 500k resistor mod.for the neck pickup. Added a retainer bar. The paint is over a clear poly resin coat. Easy to strip with common strippers.The poly will stay, of course.

I remember watching a Katana review in the Santa gear, I rushed out and bought one after that, might need a new Jet now. Hope you can grab more of them for review in 2025. If you wanted to you could have a huge career being a studio musician. With your skills and knowledge of playing you would be up there with tim pierce and rhett shull. You would need to move over here to the US though. But there would be nothing stopping you from all the studio work you could handle over here. I know tim makes good money doing it and rhett makes alot too. Tyler larson makes good money too in Nashville. You are most definitely on the same level as any of these people quite effortlessly too it seems.
