Jet JT350 Tele Copy - Upgrades & Mods 1st Impressions

Great Jet JT350 mods, pretty versatile, nice to have out of phase middle. I wish I could justify a Jet. I badly need a Tele again and I have a Jet dealer right close to me. But last fall I bought the teal green SE Swamp Ash Special HSH (really enjoying it). So that's 4 guitars in my tiny suite and I have to move to an even smaller suite soon.

I bought myself a Jet JT300. Blown away honestly. The neck on mine is a dark mahogany colour and the body is a much nicer creamy vintage yellow rather than bright (seen a lot of variety in colours online). So far I've put a new bridge on with 6 brass saddles, shielded it, put in some new pickups, 4 way switch for in series use, dual coil taps for overwound pickups and tone capacitor switch. One mod that's important on these is a second string tree on the headstock, the break angle is really bad and hurts string tension, sustain and the D and G string like to rattle in the nut. Add a second string tree for D and G and put some extra winds on the tuning pegs for E and A, problem solved. Amazing guitar

I pulled the trigger on the JT-350 the last week , Haven't regretted it one bit, Amazing guitar for the money just stock. First 9.5" radius and smooth C neck I've ever played, After struggling with 12" radius & chonky necks on my other guitars I think I've found the right one. The JT-350 is a pleasure to play in comparison. Many thanks to you and @stevecassidyguitar for covering it favorably in various videos & bringing it to my attention, I've already got many hours of enjoyment out of it so far. Thanks for the vid, look forward to more with the JT-350.

I've got one of these Jet Tele's and I really like it. Interesting choice of mods, the mini humbucker and wiring change sounds interesting.

What the Jet should be in the first place at a higher price point, and then brought down to a lower price with "budget" options. This one's a killer!

I had a revelation tele custom, changed the neck humbucker for an oripure P90 and the standard ceramic hotrails for an oripure A5 hotrail pickup, it had a gretsch like tone in the middle

Love the Peter Green out of phase but you lost the best sound a Tele makes, the amazing middle position. I wonder if a four position switch would get that back.
