Woah, a DC-9 ... with American Airlines leather First Class seats, coach seats, from the 80s and 90s. IK I am a dork, didn't think aircraft with that interior still existed. (Flew a lot on American as a little kid in the 90s so there is an odd nostalgia to seeing that interior again)

This specific airplane flew for SAS Scandinavian for many years, then was sold in the 90’s and flew for budget airlines in the US for about ten years. Skydive Perris bought it in 2003 and has owned it since. It looks like they just returned this jet to service a few months ago after parking it for more than ten years.

Hi old timer👍, yep I’m from a similar era did my last jump in 2000. Met some wonderful people did some fabulous things and have some amazing memories. Jumped a whole range of aircraft fixed wing and rotary the biggest being a c130 and the smallest a c182 but loved them all. I’m 75 now but I would strap it on again tomorrow,we’ve lived a full life brother, greetings from the uk.
