Jet Linx Pilot Careers | Operational Advancement
Michael Kopp, Director of Operations, NOC
What keeps me in Jet Linx is really the family atmosphere. And from a crew members perspective, the stability within the company of having multiple aircraft owners, and a variety of aircraft types. And the ability to move up within the company is paramount. We have many examples of crew members who have moved up through the ranks who are still with us, who've been here 10, 15, and even 20 years. There's opportunities within the safety department as Base safety managers. There's check pilot opportunities for experienced pilots and experienced captains. Each Base has a Base chief pilot, and occasionally those positions open up to bring you into the leadership roles for future advancement, maybe to system chief pilots.
Corey Ogren, Base Chief Pilot, Jet Linx Denver
When I started here, the company had three aircraft. And we've now grown to well over 100 aircraft, all different types. The company has gone through numerous changes - the size, getting its own operating certificate, the growth has been kind of amazing for me to see, because I've been here the whole time. I started out 21 years ago as a Beechjet PIC, and now fly on other aircraft since then. And I've had the opportunity to move to another city, which I wanted to move to anyway, and advanced into a management position. So there's plenty of opportunities.
Darren Rogers, System Chief Pilot, NOC
So Jet Linx offers a couple of different areas that will give you strength and security for working here at Jet Linx. One is the size of our company, we're growing, we have over 500 employees, we have over 100 different aircraft. So there's stability in the fact that in the event that you need to move or change from an aircraft, we've got you covered. So there's lots of areas as we continue to grow. There's also areas for growth in our pilot Corps, I can use an example of one of our bases where half of the pilots that started at Jet Linx at this particular Base have already upgraded whether that be from SIC to PIC, or from PIC on a smaller aircraft up to a large and heavy aircraft. So those are areas where I see lots of strengths if you're a new pilot and you want to come to Jet Linx.
Dave Heronemus, Base Chief Pilot, Jet Linx Austin
Everybody within the team respects each other at a high level and it translates universally between our clients, our CSRs, our line personnel and our fellow pilots and it's just it's a standard that's very high and it's very consistent.
Ari Sarmento, System Chief Pilot, NOC
So advancements opportunities here at Jet Linx are wide and varied. We have the pathway program from destination 225 with Southwest Airlines where we will bring in cadets, we'll give them an SIC position, they'll be with us for a few years, perhaps upgrade to PIC, perhaps upgrade from a Light Jet to a medium jet to a Heavy Jet and then continue their career in three to four years with Southwest Airlines. So there's a complete pathway from beginning to a senior crew member, and they could stay with us if they wanted and fly maybe a G650 or something bigger.
Joe Packard, Base Chief Pilot, Jet Linx Dallas/Fort Worth
