​@@skreenfiendI agree. It's a great game aside from a few minor gripes and the short story, but it feels almost obvious that it was put together with the intention to expand. DJ Cypher even says right towards the end "this isn't over". The 40 dollar price point is fair too. The last thing I haven't seen mentioned yet is the strong call back to another classic cult game- Phantom Crash. The DJ mech and the police mech are a total nod to that game. I am actually hoping that aside from big expansion or sequels to this game, that they also bring back Phantom Crash. I am frankly hoping this is a clue to any who recognized this connection. All in all this has been my favorite game release in a Long time.

The Oldheads are often talking about “Old Amsterdam” and even Felix seems to be the older of the Big 3 with memories of how Amsterdam used to be. So I have a hunch that pit and a couple other choice spots of the game are revealing that underneath are ruins of the older flooded Amsterdam, and New Amsterdam was built on top the ruins.

My only real problem with the game is having to watch a stupid animation for every little graffiti tag I do. Stops the whole flow of the game. In jet set you just tag and go no interruptions except for the bigger pieces.

Bomb Rush Cyberfunk doesn't need to be harder. It needs a way to hard-limit combos after you've unlocked everything and have no more missions. The game is easy to beat, and not hard to 100%, as even the multi-million point score challenges are a cakewalk once you're sufficiently familiar with the movement system and the level layouts. After that, it's either start a new file or go for a record high score in each borough. The problem is that without a time limit or specific score to hit, there's nothing stopping you from just finding a closed grind loop and mashing buttons while you watch TV. So even if you _do_ attempt to beat your own high scores the "right" way, it still rings hollow when you _know_ that score will forever be a measure of patience, not skill. I'd be happy if they just let us replay the final score challenge in each borough, trying to reach the point limit faster each run, or going for as many points as possible within the time limit. It'd be even better if there were post-game challenges that are actually _challenging,_ like reaching six heat, defeating a mech boss, and hitting specific graffiti spots, all while maintaining one combo and earning a particular score. That's a pretty tall order, but tougher post-game challenges that utilize the cops, graffiti, and specific parts of the map would _tremendously_ boost this game's lifespan, especially for console players.

My only problem with the game is it's too easy. Combat, trick battles, and races were over simplified. A grind meter like tony hawk and more trick combos need to be added. Only have 4 tricks for any situation is real lame. You have the basic 3 trick buttons and a 4th if you boost while you trick, but why can't we use two buttons at a time to combo a new trick using the 3 basic trick buttons together?

Nah, I think the story in bomb rush cyber funk was better then any of the JSR stories. The dream stages in BRCF were a great edition to this type of game, something Sega could have done if they weren’t busy keeping sonic alive

Jet Set Radio is really not that great, I played it recently to see what the hype was about and I think it's mostly the soundtrack and how cel-shaded graphics weren't common at the time. Other than that the game's nothing special imo
