I've been following you for a long time but just found this video. I did that exact same jet ski tour in December 2019 and made a video. I agree with guided tours generally not being very good but the jet ski island tour was an epic highlight of Key West and my road trip around Florida.

Eekkk! My husband and I were in the Keys in November. We also took a jet ski tour around the whole key too (We went with a different company) I was really nervous about it as I have never been on on a jet ski before. (I'm 48 😳) He said it'll be fun! I was scared to death the whole time! Towards the end of the tour, the water got choppy and my husband lost control of the ski and we flipped over. I somehow kicked the ski and came up screaming that I broke my foot! Long story short, they got us back up on the ski, we finished the tour and it turned out I had a really bad break on my toe. Somehow I didn't let it ruin the rest of our vacation, it was just very slow going. I didn't go to a Dr till we got home 3 days later and they put me in a boot. I still love the Keys, and can't wait to go back. (I just won't be jet skiing, lol) Thanks for sharing your videos. It brought back a lot of memories! 😃

At least they took care of you at home! My mum broke her foot but didn't know so was driving and everything..by the time she got it xrayed it was already self healing so she got no boot or anything! All because of a fall off the kerb in slippy weather! (And a bad initial diagnosis of a "slight sprain"😞)

When I went jet skiing in key west I hated it because I didn’t want to fall off of it I am ok with jet skiing on a lake but in the ocean I was paranoid of sharks in the water …. I’m glade you guys enjoyed it more than I did best wishes and safe travels to you both

I've done this with my husband in Key West and let me just tell you, I have NO idea how you're holding him with one arm. My butt came off the seat multiple times while holding onto him SO tight with both. He was also definitely going too fast though.

Ya a got to see the Chevy again wow ha ha. Now that demonstration of Jet ski running was impressive but boy did we feel for Kara on the back hanging on for grim death with only one hand doing all the filming while you were a tempting to distort her ha ha. When you get home Kara get a wet towel and get Nat to ly on his back while you hit him on the chest a couple done times to get even. Once again great work and very interesting stay safe see ya

They have a kill ignition - if you bail, the engine stops. You may end up in the water, which is not the best situation but at least you have vests and a guide. Usually, the hardest part is getting back on the craft from the water.
