JetBlack VICTORY Smart Trainer - Setup
At JetBlack, we love to ride. In this video, we’ll show you what’s inside your box and how to set up your VICTORY Smart Trainer.
Inside, you’ll find a card that gives you 2 months free on Zwift. Don’t lose it-you’ll need that later if you don’t already have a subscription and plan to train on Zwift.
Let’s take a look at what’s in the box:
The trainer with the pre-installed Zwift Cog.
Front and rear legs, all required bolts, and a wrench with a hex key.
Quick release skewer.
Quick release and thru-axle adaptors.
Power adaptor.
Zwift Click gearing device.
Disc brake block.
Your VICTORY trainer comes pre-installed with a Zwift Cog and includes the Zwift Click virtual gearing device.
If you’re not planning to use the Zwift training app, no problem-you’ll need to remove the Zwift Cog and replace it with the appropriate cassette. This is covered in another video titled Removing Zwift Cog & Installing Cassette.
Assembling Your VICTORY
Gather your trainer, legs, bolts, and wrench.
Let’s attach the legs to the trainer. They’re color-coded for simplicity:
The leg with the orange marking goes at the front.
Match the JetBlack logo on the leg with the logo on the trainer foot to ensure the correct orientation. The side with the logo should be on the drive side (the side with the Zwift Cog).
The foot with the white marking goes at the back.
Position both legs so a thin line of color shows on each-this means they’re correctly placed.
Insert the bolts through the trainer foot and thread them into the leg. Tighten with the hex key. Repeat this process for all bolts on the trainer.
Once both the front and rear legs are attached, you’re ready to mount your bike!
And that’s it! Now that we’ve covered the trainer assembly, head to the next video where we’ll walk you through mounting your bike.
See you there!
