Nah, don't regret it for a second. The Road Kings are awesome bikes with serious Cholo potential, maybe even more potential than a Deluxe (it's debatable). Besides, building the bike up is half the fun. Tons of parts available too for the King because touring bikes are part-makers bread and butter.

@JETFILMCHANNEL3 жыл бұрын
Most of the music I use is from other artists. I've used some of my own, but not often. My channel is monetized, but not every film I release is eligible due to the music
@user-ns8nv9em8w3 жыл бұрын
@@JETFILMCHANNEL The music in your videos is 💯. It’s been difficult to find the music I want to use in my videos. Lookin for better music options without encountering any copyright claims.
@JETFILMCHANNEL3 жыл бұрын
Thanks, I spend a tremendous amount of time searching for music for these films, most of it is eq'd and edited/looped/spliced to fit the film. That makes a huge difference to the "watchable-ness" of a film. Copyrights are really tough to get around, the software has gotten really sophisticated. My best advice to avoid copyrights without using royalty free music is to do deep searches for music of upcoming bands or underground artists that aren't mainstream. There's tons of content out there, but it takes time to find it.

That's great, you guys are probably in a better position than I am. And I really mean that. My build is so far along, that to change things now would be to spend a fortune. If you guys have a clear vision of what you're going for than you'll only have to buy parts once. Tons of parts available for your years too. The 4 big things are really just wheels, suspension, bars and exhaust. That'll get you in the game, everything else is details and subjective. But doing certain mods together can and will save time and money. Good luck guys, its a fun journey.

Had em for quite some time. Been meaning to do the grips, shifter pegs, foot controls all with the same design l. *** I had the thermometer dipstick (OEM) on my last bike.. a Fatboy ..and it fkn would leak.. after a hard ride I’d see little bit of oil dripping down It didn’t leak at first .. but after I took it out once or twice it didn’t seal right. Thanks Juan, floorboards scraping will always be a problem for heritages and deluxes. With my setup, I always scrape pipes first. Which means, (theoretically)if you lower the front, the pipes will get a little higher. You might scrape you floorboards a little more, but it comes with the terrortory with these bikes. If you're really concerned with scraping, then I wouldn't lower it at all. Or get air ride and adjust it with the press of a button. Either way, it sounds like you've got a nice setup

@@JETFILMCHANNEL I've put 10,000 miles on my bike since I bought it and I have only scrapped the floorboards three times at stock height. I've decided to drop my bike one inch in the front and one inch in the back, hopefully I won't scrape too much. When you have a chance make more softail videos with your bike, it looks awesome! Thank you for all the info in the videos, it has been very helpful to me.

Awesome and sick ride!! Can you tell me what you think about engine/transmission chrome covers? Thank you and ride safe.

Thanks for the support Alex. It might seem odd, but I actually wouldn't get them myself. I just think its a little too much chrome. But if you are looking to clean that "black" area up around the base of the engine, then try using S100, its an aerosol spray that makes the black base of the engine look darker and newer. I use it all the time, especially before going to a big event

must be nice getting parts that fast from Samson. I ordered a true dual system for my '08 crossbones on May 17. It's now April 7th and it hasn't even shipped yet.

Don't feel bad, mine took 5 weeks to arrive. The replacement part was quick. The entire aftermarket industry is too damn slow

@@JETFILMCHANNEL the website I ordered it from says that Samson has a 2-6 week delay for shipping. I was really hoping it was closer to 2 than 6, but it's still early in the season.

Direct cycle parts? If so, they're really good though, great customer service, best prices around
