His vocals are off the charts. Like no one else, totally identifiable.

I just love Ian Anderson and Jethro Tull. Had the distinct pleasure of seeing this band many times back in the 70's and early 80's. Memories I'll cherish till the time I can no longer hear such beautiful music.

This is one of my favorite albums and yet listening to these isolated voice tracks of Ian Anderson sounds like im hearing this for the first time again ,brings a greater appreciation for the music of tull. Thanks for making this video, without the equipment to do this there'd be no way of hearing the album like this!

These isolated tracks are fascinating to see how they helped make the track that you've heard so many times, yet you can often hear things you never knew were there, then you listen to it as the complete track and you can hear the more subtler pieces highlighted here.

Tull was at the top of their game. What an album. Love this!! Ian’s Christmas Card is also outstanding. Of all classic rock artists, Ian was tops when it came to expressing his love of Christmas. I discovered JT on Christmas Day 1972. My older brother bought me Aqualung. No turning back from there! And I’ll forever thank him.

Fantastic to hear these for those of us without the pennies for the 5.1 equipment, or even for the lovely multi-disc re-releases. The only downside is having to face what I always knew, but didn't want to believe: namely that Ian doesn't in fact sing "too much curry ruins the body" at 39:40. This tended to suggest a very different kind of "fire at midnight" involving a lengthy toilet session after a chicken phaal and too many Löwenbräus.

Nice change of perspective, in some way it was almost like hearing it new again. The first time I saw Jethro Tull was 1977 in Oklahoma City at the Myriad center. It was magical. This recording brought back some of that magic. Thank You

Really enjoying these. Love hearing the occasional non-vocal bits. Have any isolated instrument tracks? Thanks! 😎👍🏼

Unfortunately the instrument tracks are mixed together so none of them is actually isolated. I could upload them nevertheless.

My guess is the isolated center speaker in the 5.1 mix.
