I believe Sunkern and Sunflora's weak stats seem to represent how fragile life is, or at least in this case the flowers. In fact, a lot of the Grass type Pokémon have either weak stats or have many weaknesses to the other elements. The earth and its plant life is powerful, beautiful, but can be easily destroyed. I don't mean to make it sound like another annoying message about how humans are destroying nature, but, well, there it is.

Stantler is a hard one for me to forget from GSC because I would grind them before fighting Ecruteak gym because they gave between 300-400 exp each, more than what most of the pokemon that trainers had would give you. Fighting 4-5 of them was enough to level up your starter or pokemon with similar exp growth between levels 20-25.

Gen 2 has a lot of my favorite monsters. I think the problem Gen 2 encountered was that Gen 1 got so popular, so where could you go with it? Random one offs that game freak scrambled to hide once they made other better Pokemon. That's why none of them gets an evolution or mega. They were practically a gen 2 exclusive. But that's what makes them special, and that's why I like them so much

I don't like Dunsparse because people never shut up about it and keep insisting it should become Dragon-type, even though it learns a grand total of Zero dragon moves.I don't get it. There's loads of other cute (people think it's cute I guess) standalone Pokemon that can use a buff, but why do people zero in on DUNSPARSE? Why not Maractus or Delibird or the demonic flying squirrel from Unova? Why just Dunsparse? I feel like people are constantly shoving it in my face, and that makes it hard to like.

Spoder Men Nobody ever cites that, they say "it looks like a dragon". Also, it's based on the Tsuchinoko, which is a serpentine creature, but not a dragon. Based on it's mythos, it should become Flying or Poison (it learns Roost, Poison Jab, and Coil to back this up). If it was based on a dragon, wouldn't it know Dragon-type moves? It knows Flying and Poison moves.

I get why Plusle and Minun don't, they're gimmick Pokemon (like Dunsparse and Delibird) but Pachirisu, Electric Rocky, and Dedenne should be able to. No reason why they don't. I too had a hatred for Snubbull until just recently when I played through Pokemon X in a Nuzlocke challenge. Having a Snubbull on my team turned out to be very useful because it was a very type. I even carried that Grandbull to the Pokemon league. Snubbull helped me out, so I think its pretty chill

Nice video Jethrotex about the Unoun they are actually kinda interesting when you discover that they are somehow connected to Arceas and hold the Pokemon Universe togethor maybe the reason they only learn hidden power because it's a reference to how they may have some hidden abilities that could lead to some mega evolution or them becoming a single legendary pokemon like how Zygarde can come tiogethor when it needs to.

I used Dunsparce in my playthrough of White 2 for fun. He died a lot and didn't really help much. For some reason, he was a rare Pokemon and it took me forever to find one with Serene Grace, so I wasn't going to give up on him! He came through in the end and took down Iris' Hydreigon! Thunder Wave + Coil + Rockslide = Hall of Fame.

Just for fun, I leveled up a dunsparse to Lv 100 and took out the elite four and champion with it, it kind of worked, you need a BUNCH of full restores and revives, but I did it in the end

One of the things Jynx is based on is a yokai called Yama-uba, known for long blonde-white hair, red tattered clothing, dark skin, large lips, and control over snow, explaining Jynx's Ice type. And part of the myth says that Yama-uba cared for a pink-skinned baby named Kintarō, which is where Smoochum's design came from. So, points for staying true to the source, I guess.
