Harry, thank you for this. I have an EDF jet with a four-servo wing using three flight modes (takeoff, land, fly) where each flight mode has a pre-defined flap extension using a constant function curve (half flaps for takeoff, full flaps for landing, no flaps for flying, plus I have gear down for takeoff and landing and a little bit of reflex for landing). In addition I would like to be able to flip a switch (Sn on my DS-24) to override the flight mode control of flaps in order to have manual, proportional, full-range control of flaps on a proportional knob (lever 5 on my DS-24) regardless of the flight mode I am in. Is there a way to do that? I have been experimenting with free mixes but thus far have not figured it out. Many thanks for considering.

You need a 4th flight mode for that, top of the priority list, Sn switches it on, P5 is the control in the flap Function assignment, function curve is standard or a 3 point adjusted to suit the end points of the travel.

Hello Harry, I am new to Jeti and am setting up a Discus Launch Glider. Your video has helped me determine how to set up flaperons, thank you! I was doing it both ways and wasn't sure the differences. I will have different trailing edge camber settings for each flight mode which of course is easily accomplished with the 'Seperate' setting in the Butterfly menu. However, my question... My flaps are set up on P4 and was trying to utilize the dedicated trim button for the P4 (throttle stick) to change the trailing edge camber of the wing (flaperons) but it is not working. I have used the Aux trim and Throttle trim on a JR 9303 and Taranis Qx7, respectively for camber in the past. Is it possible to use the Throttle trim for Camber control on the Jeti system? I am using a G1 DS14 w most recent firmware. Thank you.

The trims are not assigned to a stick, they are assigned to a function - any function that you want. Go to Digital Trims menu, you will see the trim is assigned to blank (assuming that you set the engine count to zero in the basic settings), change it from blank to flaps.

Hmm, within the Digital Trim menu the Flaps are already assigned under 'Function' for the typical throttle trim buttons. There is no effect shown in the Receiver Output menu. The other trims such as Elevator do show effect.

Thank you Harry! Very much appreciated! Scrolling all the way down in the Flaps to Ail Free Mix to turn on the Trim option is what did the trick! Thanks again!
