Hello Harry, thank you for the video. There is one thing that might be interesting for many Jeti users who need to change what transmitter their receiver is bound to. While the common method is to connect the red "Bind Plug" to the receiver, there is another method that, in my experience, not many people know about. Here are the steps: 1. For safety, remove any props before proceeding! 2. Turn ON the already-bound transmitter (let's call it Tx-1) and the receiver in your model. 3. On the Jeti-Box Emulator on Tx-1, navigate to the receiver menu: “ <- Rx ->”. 4. Once there, continue to the menu showing the connected receiver type (e.g., “ Duplex R5 EX >> ”). 5. Inside that menu, you will find << Pairing ^ >>. 6. By pressing the Up-key, the receiver will enter the pairing mode, just like when using the red Bind Plug. 7. Turn off Tx-1 and turn ON the new transmitter. The new transmitter should find the receiver and bind to it (a timer will display, showing how much time you have left for binding). This method can be especially useful when a receiver is difficult to reach inside the model. For more information, you can visit: jetiforum.de/index.php/4-jeti-sender/6731-uebertragen-der-bindung-mit-hilfe-von-paring

That is a good point to raise. It saves trying to get a bind plug into a receiver that may be in a place that is hard to get to.

A bit of a shame that it is not possible to upgrade your old DS-24. Being able to send in your old one and get a new screen and software. Would be willing to pay a fair amount but i am not willing to buy a new one. It's a bit of a one time investment.

Harry, I see many of your videos are older so not sure if you still monitor comments. But just wanted to thank you! for these "tutorials". I am brand new to Jeti after years of Spektrum so this kind of help is so important to me. Most everything on my DS-24 is new to me, but I grabbed this particular video as it piqued my interest - partly for the ultimate result, but also for your mention of "logic" programming. As a retired IT guy, I found myself literally smiling as I followed along with your directions. Not only was this video informative and timely, it was FUN, haha. Thanks again..... jerry g

Jeti DS 24 II. Have a switch for Gear . Want to use Rudder Trim for trimming rudder in flight. However with Gear switch Down, want to use the Rudder Trim to trim the nosewheel steering which is on a separate channel and servo. How do I go about it ? Your inputs appreciated.
@cotswoldpilot10 күн бұрын
yes but - when you switch between them the trim on the disabled one goes to 0%. Not really a problem for the nose steering but means when you switch gear down the rudder trim goes to zero, it comes back to the trimmed value when you put gear up. On jets and edf I take the view that rudder trimming is never required and put the trim permanently onto nose steering. If you need both then one of them will have to be on a separate control used as a trimmer such as the buttons on the back or a rotary P control.

If I don't need the 24 channels.. is there any reason to go with the 24 v2 over the 16 v2 ? This would be my first Jeti radio... appreciate your thoughts..
@cotswoldpilot22 күн бұрын
Part of this is to update the v1 which has been around for a few years, such as giving it the 900NG. It has a bigger screen than the 16. It has buttons and switches on the back plate. More easily adjusted stick as you don't take the back cover off. Stick shaker on each stick, the 16 doesn't have vibrate at all. Bluetooth. Wi-fi but that is still waiting for a software update in the future to enable it.
