Why doesn’t India trade its missiles, like the Akash, with Brazil? India’s pretty advanced when it comes to missiles, while Brazil has a big gap in anti-air defense, which could be a great market for India down the line. It’s good to see more cooperation between BRICS countries.

Brazil has just ordered more Gripens, will also build them locally through Embraer's partnership with SAAB, and Sweden has adopted the C-390 reinforcing its presence in NATO... however , a C-390 production line in India makes perfect sense to expand the BRIC partnership to the ASIA Indo-Pacific business, both military and civil aviation... if Embraer, Mahindra, SAAB and BAE Systems join forces it would be an interesting global alliance...

C-390 without a doubt is a game changer in tactical transport segment but i personally find A-400M to be more appropriate for IAFs current needs. Hopefully we see either if not both as both are best in their respective class

bro A400M costs around 380 million euros and can carry 37 tons and range 3700 km whereas C 390 if made in india would cost around 55 million euros and can carry 26 tonnes and has significant range. Our Netra AWACS plane is this C 390 only with range to monitor 500 km of airspace and we can basically modify this plane either as a carrier or bomber or AWACS plane at very low price.

As forças armadas não querem o Tejas. Da India as forças armadas tem interesse em outros equipamentos como baterias anti aéreas, A embraer tem interesse no mercado para com fabrica local e o governo em uma compra sem utilizar dinheiro. O problema principal é que o governo que está em dificuldade de pagamentos, por isso está atrasado com as aquisições dos gripens, precisa alinhar o interesse de todos, forças armadas, embraer e o próprio governo. Então provavelmente vão fazer trocas sem dinheiro e vão receber os Tejas como forma de pagamento. Não faz muito sentido receber o Tejas numa quantidade pequena e de diferente operação em comparação com as outras aeronaves, mas o governo precisa fazer concessões.

The existing agreement between Airbus and Tata only covers local production of the C295. As India needs a larger aircraft, a new agreement will be necessary depending on the aircraft chosen. The A400M would be assembled through a partnership between Airbus and Tata. The KC-390 would be assembled through a partnership between Embraer and Mahindra. Lockheed Martin has not yet officially partnered with any Indian company for local assembly of the C130J.

Embraer has already expressed its intention to transfer technology if the KC-390 is selected. It remains to be seen whether India would be willing to do the same with the Tejas or other Indian military equipment that is of interest to Brazil.

C-390 is 3rd grade aircraft. India should go with Airbus. Since it is best in world. 2nd india has multiple Airbus manufacturing plant . It will secure Indian supply chain during any confrontation.
