My god. Two guys flying jetpacks, essentially two jet engines strapped to a pair of wings, around Dubai at 120 mph. It's one of the coolest things you'll see this week. It looks real cool, but I was curious as to how do you take off using those wings (short answer: you don't, you jump out of an airplane) and how do you land using that thing. The first question is answered in the video, but what about the landing?

Un Usuario Yves Rossy was here in Reno, NV at the National Championship Air Races......I think it was in 2013. Launching from a helicopter & landing with a chute. VERY cool.....although watching from the ground......if you take your eyes off of that tiny black speck in the sky....or even blink.......it's easy to lose track of him. I think there were some problems due to the altitude in Reno ( high desert ). At that time, if I'm remembering correctly, this was the highest above sea level that he had operated from. And I believe that he required at least another 10,000 feet above THAT......to safely perform some of the loops & stuff. The air's pretty thin up there, and they make sure those little engines are cranking.....before they drop from the door of the chopper.

XDubai i think the problem for most people is, that they took all the real sounds and replaced them by other sounds. the sound of the "jetman" is one from a real jet who broke the sonic barrier, dubais city sounds were also eliminated . makes an unrealistic impression.
