The Platinum Preppy is a wonderful fountain pen! One of your videos talked about it so I tried it. I love it! I bought one for each of my grandkids, 10 and 12. They think it’s cool, but I don’t know how much they’ll use them, or any pen!!! 😱 They use computers so much in school that they don’t write very often. What you don’t use, you lose. I think I’ll see if I can get them to write to me and I’ll write back. We live 15 minutes away from each other, but they might enjoy the novelty of writing letters. (The novelty! How crazy is it that writing isn’t commonplace anymore? 😢)

The idea of the squishy rings for notebooks is brilliant, though A5 is still small for mathematics. Hmmm... Gotta admit I love those stickers, both how they're semi-transluscent and the choice of vintage images.

The Himekuri calendar sticker is unexpectedly so useful! I bought it only as a 'cute bonus thing' since I couldn't say no to the cats and I'm using it for my diary entry, but it really helps me not skipping a day and with the new day you can see the next week with a different color and stamp it's honestly the cutest!! seeing it always puts me in a good mood! and you're telling me there's a Le Chat fountain pen?? gotta buy it asap

The TOOLS TO LIVEBY Le Chat pen isn’t the only fountain pen with a face on the nib. The Pilot Kakuno was the original. I love that feature

I velcro'd 3 Lihit Lab Book Style Pencases (triple) together and now I have a comically large pen case. I shoved all of my stationery and art supplies inside it and there's still empty pockets. It weighs like 6 pounds.

@@MichelleneFryson I wouldn't do it if you don't have a sewing machine or something. The stick-on velcro peels off after a few days from the weight and I've found that the fabric that the case is made of is really hard to get the needle through. I stapled the velcro on the cases and it works OK for now, but the staples tend to fall out. This can cause the case to split apart.

@@MichelleneFryson A better option than velcro may be to "bundle" them together using a strap or belt. Even a simple string could work.

One theme I've been wondering about - I love stationary but I sometimes want to try to minimize waste by either using things that aren't as disposable, or use things that can get really well recycled. Any cool recommendations in this area would be greatly appreciated!

If ur into fountain pens you can get raw ink instead of cartridges… also look into multi pens and getting a comfy pen body with refills instead of throwing away the entire pen every time it runs out

I’ve been using the Himekuri sticky note stationery calendar since late December - I think the first date was 27th. I have a bujo so it’s perfect to mark the days. Some days I write one page, some days two, sometimes a page and a half. Before I go to bed at night I put the next sticky note down in my bujo so I’m ready to write the next day. The pens looked really nice too but I have a huge stash of pens already so I won’t be buying any more this year (and maybe next year too).
