This is on Joe Douglas. Early last year when the fans were all over Zack at the end of the game Joe and Saleh were coming off the field when a fan yelled at Joe “ How does it feel signing the second coming of Ryan Leaf”. Joe went ballistic and went after the fan and yelled “ I can break you in half” and Saleh had to pull Joe into the tunnel. Joe is going to do everything he can to to prove he did not make a mistake.

ALL QBs have thin skin. Goes with a job which you can be out of after just a handful of poor performances. Keeping Jimmy G around at the Patriots clearly put a bee in Brady's bonnet. Hell, they were all set to kick Tommy out the door until his daddy overruled Uncle Bill and Brady got his wish with Jimmy being traded. Clearly the Jets believed Zack was worth saving when A-Rod came on board. And clearly they believed having Mike White around would only have a negative impact on the player. I'm not saying I agree with the decision. But QB politics is a real thing and takes place everywhere.

People can blame Wilson, but the fact is that this is a bad TEAM. The best position group on the team is the DL and they're only average to above average. All of the other groups, coaches included are just plain bad or in the OL's case terrible. I say this to the behest of Jets fans everywhere, who i feel for in this situation with zack wilson but how could you not see this situation coming all offseason??? There was no way old creaky rodgers was getting through the season with this line. Simply was never a possible outcome, so i think at this point you sink the ship. Keep this disaster going and play for a quarterback in the draft. I might even go as far as saying you clean house after week 17. Gone is the guy who shipped off Mike White, and brought in Old man Rodgers, Gone is the HC who thinks theres improvement or could be improvement in Zack Wilson, Gone is his staff too. Let this disaster play out, and deal with the aftermath in January. Because any 1st round qb from the past 2 years and ill even add DRidder to this, would be enough to carry this team to at least some level of competent play and a chance to win most weeks. Let it live for 4 more months, then put the whole thing down and send Rodgers packing too.

Why you blaming the coach when everybody knows that kind of decision will have been kicked upstairs to management? You think Salah hasn't asked for another QB? Of course he has. And he was told - unequivocably - NO, NADA, NEIN - make do with what you have. Unfortunately Salah is trapped between a rock and a hard place here. Has to defend Zack because that's the message he's getting from atop the mountain. Even Bill Belichik didn't have total autonomy on the QB question so it's completely unrealistic to expect Salah does. Sure, you can call into question some of Salah's coaching decisions (although most of those are contingent on being forced to play a broken QB). But everything else is management and ownership. Which has been the Jets problem for ages.

Evan, who else do the jets have??? They had to try the kid after rodgers went out. No one is trading their QB in week 2 or 3. So that leaves who, Wentz and another has been? The seasons is shot.
