It's really funny. When people do motor bikes they make sure they balance (synchronize) the carbs, yet on other engines, like a boat or snowmobile they don't do it. I guess they think one cyl pulling harder than the others is not so important afterall
@JetSkiBrothers4 ай бұрын
That’s true you don’t see carb balancing on personal watercraft. I never really thought about it, wonder why that is
@mazdarx78874 ай бұрын
@@JetSkiBrothers Except for motorbikes, it's rarely done. My buddies 9500 Blizzard couldn't get the top end like his brothers. I set the clutches, tuned and balanced the carbs, adjusted the track and he walked away from him. It is just basic mechanical work, not rocket science

Yeah not too worried about being told we’re doing it wrong by someone online. But it’s always fun when we get all the brothers in the same video 🍻👍

Hey do y'all work on skis for people? I have a 2000 seadoo 951 got it as a basket case and have been throwing parts at it. Still needs some stuff put together, carbs exhaust. Needs ignition and key/programming. I'm in Washington.

Hey bro, love your channel . One thing , please don't run extra oil in the fuel, less is better. The extra oil runs hotter cylinder head temperatures and can possibly melt pistons. Depending on what fuel you run and compression, Good luck bro🤞
@JetSkiBrothers4 ай бұрын
Agreed, just running extra oil during break in then we’ll switch back to normal.

There's an old engine builder saying about ring gaps: Run them too loose, only You will know. Run them too tight, and EVERYONE will know.. I hope it works out for You. Also, the semi- circular wire type clips are usually less prone to eject themselves than the flat ones with the holes for the pliers.

I agree in principle and in reality yes this seems correct. But on internet videos I can just not show you guys if things don’t work out. But on js brothers we always show what happens even if it’s our own bone headed mistake. To us truth is better then being flawless.

Hey brother, thanks for the upload! I have a kawi 1100 engine and I was wondering if there was a particular tool or way to precisely lineup the lovejoy in my jet boat? Any input you or others might have is greatly appreciated.
@JetSkiBrothers4 ай бұрын
If you’re using a Kawasaki coupler then it would be the same way you line it up in the jetski. Try searching for jetski coupler alignment. If you can’t find anything I’ll try to make an explanation video for you
