I think I recognize one boat that was painted at a shop near me just south of Kansas City. It was great watching you video the party on the channel going up to the London Bridge. I was hoping to see Merlin go by in his Targa boat, blowing little smoke.

I live out there.. So cool to see all the crazies having a blast.. they put those boats up to 180+ mph on the water Saturdays.. on boat parade day there isn't one single open spot for 2 miles in that area.

As much as I have treasured Desert Storm over the years as a spectacle, I think SuperCat Fest West is better….at least that event gives back to the community. They raised over $300, 000 for local children’s charities and projects. Perhaps Desert Storm could do something as well. Both cool events for sure!

It's usually wise for locals to stay off the lake on big weekends. There are videos on KZbin of locals recording the boat docks in the evening to see who is able to get their boats on the trailer.

If the outboards free up all that space for something else, what is the deck cover for? It seems like you’re wasting space with that cover where at least 6 to 8 more people could sit.
