I would live with the cost of Covid tests, because I can calculate approximately how many i will need and so factor the cost into the cost of the trip. But the issue of sudden border closures cannot be resolved. I am not wealthy enough to spend six months in a hotel in Paris waiting for the border to open! So no overseas holidays for me until it is financially safe! Thank you for the video! Have a fabulous weekend!

Ah, have a great first international flight since COVID Jayden. All the hoops one has to jump through plus additional expenses of international travel (and soon some interstate travel) I find rather off putting and takes a lot of the pleasure out of travel. I think I`ll sit tight and wait this out a little longer!

I last flew out of Cairns in 2017, both domestic, to Brisbane, and International, to Manila (that flight no longer exists). The terminal looks fabulous. We're starting to see some more Qantas action at LAX and it reminds me that one day I'll make my way back to Oz. I'll wait for International flights until tests are no longer needed, especially if vaxed.

Hey Jay, love your channel, and wondered if I could ask you a "practical" question about the overwing exit rows on the JQ A320s? Are the armrests fixed (like they often are in exit rows) or are they just like normal economy seats? Thinking of taking a break in Cairns next winter but my partner really needs and extra seat and some more space to be comfortable - we normally avoid exit rows due to the fixed arm rests but these look like they'd be ideal :)

Jetstar doing a competent job but $160 Cairns to Brisbane is not cheap! I did it in a train once and it took almost three days, so better than that, however. Hope the exam was trouble free

@@JaydenWong Yeah, I had issues trying to use a similar portal to submit my safe travel pass when I arrived, it's not the best designed portal I've seen. Fortunately they tend to respond fairly quickly in Singapore, even on weekends at times, so hopefully your issue should be resolved soon! If there's anything else you need help with let me know! pretty much never in Adelaide and Brisbane, only for a combined of perhaps 30 days throughout the pandemic where they were snap lockdowns. Perth is crazier, no one wears one at all on public transport, indoor shopping centres etc. So going overseas will be a bit challenging for me😂 Masks everywhere
