Mike excellent video. You covered all the things that people need to think about before dropping some serious money on a board. I would just add that like all things in life you get what you pay for. No bargains in such a new sport so if it’s really cheap there is a reason....

Hi there Mike, one question for you if you can help me. Petrol boards, Jetsurf or Mako? Wheight and power are is basically the same, but what's your understanding as far as maintenance, support and durability? thanks a lot, great to find your videos to help us with this
@JetSurfingNation4 жыл бұрын
Both are good but with 15 years of experience, jetsurf is a more professional product and more reliable. Cheers

I am sold on the jetsurf however I live on a quiet lake and am afraid of the annoying noise. What eboards have the longest run time.
@JetSurfingNation5 жыл бұрын
Of course efoils are silent and have the longest run time. Also check my new video about Jetsurf electric and Ewave

Hello please Can you give me your point of view about the models it is better to buy for creating a little nautic base. I have a préférence for onean. So do you think it is good to mix one or two mantas for quite family ride and one or two carver x ? Thanks

Do you mean for rental purposes? Then yes it's a good choice.

Mike, great vid but still need your advice. Which board is good for tackling long easy breaking waves? My idea is that we have a 100 metre break but it's 200 metres off shore, so I ride out, catch the wave ( turn off the power ) then zoom back out to the break for the next set. The surfers are closer in surfing the main break but this will put me out in my own space. I am thinking electric Carver but not sure. Thoughts?
@JetSurfingNation5 жыл бұрын
Hi Gerry! Thank you! None of the jetboards can ride without power (maybe only efoils). I think Jetsurf is the best on the waves, you can see my videos where i ride Jetsurf on the waves. It is very noisy however. You cant ride it without power because the jet acts like a break. Efoil is also possible to ride in waves!

Hi, a jetboard will only last 1 year, sell or service it? can you explain more about this please, specifically jetsurf which is the board i am interested in, and what would be an average life span on this board it kept in good condition?
@JetSurfingNation4 жыл бұрын
Yes I keep my Jetsurfs for 1.5 years (2 seasons) then it’s better to sell it and buy a new one, else you would become a mechanic always fixing something instead of riding

Ewave is a legit brand. When saying "avoid chinese ripoffs" I meant the generic no-name scams sold on Alibaba. I had a detailed video about them and why people lose money buying this crap on alibaba
