Good job covering so many details guys. I tend to judge Lift harshly for the cables and hoses for *my* personal use. I assemble and disassemble everything to fit in my Camry car 🚗 every ride. And to store in my closet. I'd love to see or do a timed comparison of full assembly to get a true idea. Lift vs Flite vs Vinga and Waydoo too maybe. 😅 I really like the hand strap that Lift has vs wrist strap on remotes. Being able to release the handle without it falling and dangling is a nice benefit. I hope they keep that with the upcoming improved remote. Looking forward to hear about other smart and safety features Lift will add to the remote and app. There are so many factors to judge and choose from with any sporting equipment. Like the two things I mentioned for my preferences for and against Lift for example. Describing the differences in this style of review as you do is good. Allow viewers to decide what is important to *them* and *their* circumstances, needs, and wants as you said. Everyone is different. Trying things in person is always helpful. I've learned a lot about my preferences, my riding, and different brands and equipment from riding different brands. Though I've only tried 3 eFoils, my understanding and appreciation for eFoiling in general has grown. Hope to expand my experiences significantly this year.

not true about not a big deal!!!! big deal for many of us who for transport reasons have to build our set up each time we go out..... the more connection you have on anything electronic or mechanical creates more potential failure points, that is very basic...

Awake Vinga battery is still the best design! No Wires!! Need some more innovation like that from the other makers!

True but that design idea makes it almost 10kg heavier. So it's always pros and cons to everything.

Always great watching your videos Mike. Like you, I own a Lift 3 board but I have the 4.9 sport. I want to upgrade my front and rear wing. Any suggestions? And do I keep the 28 mast with the new upgraded wings or change out the mast as well? Thanks 🤙

Thank you.. As for me, I ride in waves so I use a folding prop, 4.2 board, 150 surf wing and 34 back! It's ideal for small waves like where i live! Cheers!

I've been binging all your videos and I almost want a biased opinion! I keep going back and forth between the flight and lift. I live hours from the ocean so I'd be on a large lake 98% of the time. I weight 245lbs, I'm thinking battery life is a big selling point. Did you say the flight had 3 HOURS battery life!? And what would I expect from that seeing as I weigh 245lbs? I vacation to the ocean yearly in Hatteras NC and I'd ride there also so I was leaning toward that folding prop on the lift, but seeing as it's 2% of my estimated use the free spinning of the flight would probably be better for long lake rides. My closest lake is 32 miles long. I'd love to cruise as much as possible on a battery. It's beautiful in Lake George NY. I want to buy two boards soon, one for me and one to take one of my kids out at a time. You think I should go with one flight and one lift? I think I should make a choice and stick with it so the batteries are interchangeable. Great video as always!

Thank you Richard for your detailed comment. While I have to stay unbiased and can't push any specific brand over other, I would advise against buying 2 different brands. Having same brand 2 boards will let you easily switch the wings between them and give you much better options and freedom, riding same battery. On a lake folding prop won't make much difference unless you plan specifically riding behind the boat wakes. For your weight get the bigger board and HA wings for longer riding time, it won't be 3 hours though. For your weight realistically is to expect 1-1.5 hour riding time but you will have a lot of fun with your kids!
