You know in Taladega Nights where everyone is racing as hard as they can and French dude is listening to classical music sipping a drink in the lead? That’s how I always picture Jett.

what you were saying about Stewart is so true. I would argue that Stewart was ahead of his time in terms of riding ability and I think Jett is the exact same. Unless he crashes in a race I don't think anyone will have anything close to be able to beat him

Watching cairoli during his prime was a thing of beauty, he would holeshoot and get in the lead with the same distance from the second for almost the entire race, 20-25 minutes in the lead with the same pace and then and only then he would switch (either that or when he was under pressure) and disappear, with a 350, it was fucking awesome

When I read that interview of Cairoli years ago, I was in awe of him that someone was that good. Yea in his prime 350 days he was incredible, beating the best on a 350 against 450s while riding at 80%. Very rare talent.

Focus wise, most people can't sustain 100% for extended periods without mistakes. That said, everyone has a different 100% in activities. He has found a regiment that puts his 80% on par with most others 110%. Sexton would be an example of failure at a sustained red line but he is cleaning it up.

@ChaseBerry
@ChaseBerry Жыл бұрын
You'd be dumb to assume Deegan would be a threat to Jett his first year, yes, but Deegan or any other upcoming rider has the potential to be a major threat after a couple years under their belt. There can always be another Jett or someone even better. You'd have to be dumb to deny that too. Deegan could be the best in two, three years, or he could be last. Either way, I wish success to them all because they are the top 1% of riders in the world and make the sport that we love go on. No one should hate any one of them unless that person can go up there and do it themselves.

Jet will be on 450 by the time deegan poses a threat to him. Deegan as bin firmly told to take it easy and just learn this year. That was the deal he made. Ya thier will be the east/west coast. race this year. But i would expect to see Deegan continue doing what he is doing. They may give him a little more leeway during outdoor. If he looks ready. But I think you will likely see big gaps between 2nd third place all season if not 1st n 2nd. Barring crashes I wouldn't expect Deegan to be any futher up than 3rd. But ya eventually jet will have to deal with him if he doesn't Austin forkner himself.

I had shimoda winning over hunter but with him out its down to really tom vialle to give him anything, and look for the star guys to be up there too. No husky rider, mosiman with the tendency to get hurt, and all of pro circuit injured. Motocross is shimodas to lose this year

Funny listerning to everyone blow the sun out of kitchens arse for getting the overall when really, if Jet didnt have his crashes he would of whooped em in all 3 races just like he did in race #3... And yeh, why race at 100% when you can still win riding at %80... work smarter, not harder!!

80 % can not be true by any means. If his 100% would be 60 seconds, 80% would be around 75 seconds. He can not ride 15 seconds faster laps. Maybe he is riding on 98% of his max

What would prove it is a little math that you did not graduate with. When his lap time is 20% faster than the top 5 who are all the same speed on these redundant tracks, (and a kid from the futures, Beaumer), then that will be proof. So for the top five with a 55 second lap time, how much time would it take Jett if he were actually 20% faster. I know,---you can't figure it out. Gonna be a rough future for you kids because your generation can't figure anything out. Sue your schools.

it’s not 80% of his time. it’s 80% effort. it’s exponential growth(or in this case decrease). 40% to 80% sure you could gain 5-6 seconds but from 80 to 100% you’re talking tenths.
