It's called appreciation of the sport. Some Americans are looking at this the wrong way. I'm an Aussie. For years we've been the underdog. Chad got us a few championships but all in all we've been the under achiever in AMA. You wanna hear the crowd roar for the Americans when they come over here. Aussies love them. Seeing their speed in real life is just next level for us. They would flog us and we would cheer them on like no tomorrow. Sure, if an aussie got up, we would be thrilled, but that was usually short lived as the Americans blow by at blistering pace. Now that the tides have turned, the true colours are shown, and Jett feels it, which is its intended purpose. Aussies are still cheering, but it's now one of ours. All this "boo Jett at Anaheim" is just bad culture. Get behind the kid and enjoy witnessing the records he is setting. In turn, this will make the juniors coming through the ranks work even harder because the bar is rising and the only way over it is hard yakka! I'm rooting for Hunters first A1.

Tomac seems to have Gone all out being ready for this ((Last season)), but People have been pissin Jett Lawrence off, and when he focuses He normally comes through as untouchable. The competition has been chasing jett , where he's accustomed to get out in front and back it down, the competition has learned this. Just look Gieser at mxon was an example. Jett had just came through the pack and backed it down, allowing a hail mary play on the last lap from competition , he'll likely see that tactic again. But I suspect that you will see a very serious Jett, to take whats his, and at the very least Shut everyone up. I think it will be a great season to watch

Jett is not losing A1 or the championship. Especially to a 32 year old that doesn’t take risks anymore. He already has Chase beaten, Webb could jag a couple of wins with some help if he starts up front and Jett gets a terrible start. I hope Eli does win but idk. I think he's in a much better spot this season compared to last season but I really question if Eli has the stamina at his age to go beast mode the last 7-8 minutes of the race. I think Chase is the only one that could possibly beat Jett if he can get the bike dialed and get over his Jett mental block. I think it's possible Chase comes out and is much improved. Also possible he doesn't too. That's why A1 is so exciting, who can take that step and get on Jett's level.

you guys easily miss-read Jett in that JA story. in the Australian culture touching someone on the arm, shoulder or chin bar in this case, means exactly the opposite as it does in the USA. it is more a way to soften what you're saying, as opposed to the "listen here punk" American attitude. overseas the gesture is used to soften the conversation, as in... " hey i've got this to tell you bro but i don't want you to take it too hard ok?"... so the hand reaches out in a sympathetic comforting way to show we are still friends. if you want to intimidate another Ozi bloke you don't touch them or grab the chin bar, you just look em in the eye, pull your shoulders back, make a fist and stand still. that's the language of the culture there IMO. People seem to forget that Eli WILL NOT TAKE chances and you MUST TAKE CHANCES to beat Jettson . The only guys who are going to beat Jett are guys that have no problem taking chances and will go balls to the wall the entire moto . Deegan is that type of Rider, Tomac is not . Tomac will not ride on the edge anymore and will only go so fast so I'm afraid we're going to have to wait a few more years .

One rider may not have it for Jett race in and race out. But if the field comes against him he can be slowed down enough for someone to beat him more consistently. And Jett himself has called the entire field against himself challenging them all at once and as one. They just have to come together and answer the challenge. Remember how all came together to stop Michael Jordan with "The Jordan rules". That's what needs to happen in a safe and non-injurous way. The Jett rules needs to be no easy hole shots, like the no lay up rule for Jordan. And one or two other rules.

This could be the revolution of moto back closer to what it used to be before it was the rainbows and sunshine that it is today. Jett may be that catalyst and need for riders to ride like they used to. Jett stays too clean. That's rainbows and sunshine. Grabbing every hole shot and making it clean out of the first million turns until he has a 10 second lead over everyone else who has to actually race other riders.
