Those were some nice Channel Cats and great eating. I like about the size of the smallest one you caught for eating. Have to get you up to TN to get into some Blues and Flat Heads. You will think you hooked your truck.

Really enjoyed this video pretty much what we do along the Ohio River I'm more into bluecat but the big channels are out here mainly use skipjack for cut bait but caught my 56lb. bluecat in May on chicken livers left out in the sun all day TIGHT LINE'S

Glad to see you got on the cats. That's how it is in the Potomac River when the tide is right, one after another. Well I can say I have you beat on one fish so far lol. My biggest was 18 some pounds caught on a clam snout years ago with the Washington monument in view.

The first two are babies compared to the ones caught by Catfish Dave on youtube, but the ones you caught are not bad. Bring Summer with you next time so she can show you how to catch the big ones.

Dave fishes for blue cats and they get much larger on average..these are channel cats..they get big but not as big as blues or flathead.

Nice channels. They don’t get that big around here. Week before last I put a 40 pounder and a whole truck load and of 3-20 pound fish in the boat. Blue cats. Kept a few of the smaller fish.
