My understanding of the story is that the daughter wanted to play at the park with the father, but he was always "too busy" to play with her. She wanted to play on the "slide" because she used to think she was too small, but wanted to prove she was big enough to play on it(?) but it's heavily implied that she fell off the slide while sneaking out to play at the park, before calling her dad to ask him to come home because her "head hurts" (indicating some kind of brain trauma, which eventually killed her). He came home, found her dead, and was reasonably devastated that his neglect of his daughter led to, well, her death. To cope with this, the father kidnaps Manami, a different girl (the girl on the missing posters) and pretends it's his daughter. She, too, dies, presumably via drowning (e.g. in the bathroom, and the drowning noises in the park) and the father perhaps represses/hides this from himself, taking pictures of 'Mitsuke', when in reality it's Manami's ghost. Evidence for this is due to Manami disappearing 8(?) days ago, therefore still being valid for the 'warranty' of the website's 13 day thing, unlike Mitsuke who - as seen near the end when her photos are selected - has been dead for longer than 13 days. Then at the very end, he succoms to his guilt, calling the police, confessing his crimes, and ki//ing himself. One thing I'm not 100% on in the rabbit. I think it's probably an imaginary friend, or a toy Mitsuke was attached to, and she brought to the park when she died? I'm not sure, and woule love to hear from others in the replies what they think? This is my understanding based off a few playthroughs, and some reading online so I might have got a few things wrong, just an FYI! Thank you for playing, I love your horror gameplays so much!! :D

I think maybe the mouse is haunting the dad instead of her because she's been gone for more than 13 days. But this is only what I think idk if this is true

Tbh I think u're right. About the Mickey Mouse: at first I thought the Mickey was the disguise he used to kidnap Maname. But now I think it's just the toy that his daughter holds on the picture, so he feels like haunted by it (not literally haunted). But there is the tall woman that sometimes appears wearing the mouse head. I didn't understand what she represents.

Thanks for the explanation! What I think about the mouse is that since it was Mitsuka's toy the dad saw it like it was haunting him, maybe because of the guilt he felt about Mitsuka ('cause he couldn't take her to the park since he was busy), so maybe it was his subconscious, allucinations that still haunted him because of his daughter´s death

When you’re going back to story games I’d love to see you play omori and the quarry, omori is a psychological horror that’s kinda ddlc vibes in the way it presents as fun and child friendly and then turns dark, the quarry is from the same company as until dawn and I found it just as enjoyable!! The characters are so likeable and there’s so many ways the game can go… know you hate choice based games but I gotta see it. Loving your videos recently!! ❤

JETTRO some great horror games that you could play as a playthrough: Alien: Isolation. Great setting, unnerving and intriguing story. One of the best horror games i’ve ever played. Resident Evil 2. You already played RE4 so you know what you in for. Lil bro Leon is waiting on you. Resident Evil 7. definitely one of the more scary RE games. introduces a new character and interesting story. Also RE Village comes after this game which is really good and is a little less scary and more story-focused SOMA. amazing setting and mind-bending story. Literally one of the best stories i’ve seen in a horror game. Little Nightmares. Very interesting and weird world with a super great story and art style.
