Awesome video. Nothing beats seeing a promising unknown spot and actually succeed at catching something. Good job

How do you like that waterloo phantom? What power N action does it have?
@KagenFishing5 жыл бұрын
Hookem361 I straight up love the rod. Very light and sensitive and have caught reds just over slot, 26.5 inch trout and handled it with no problem. Only time I got nervous that I would possibly push it to breaking was catching a 40lb monster red drum but got it to the boat and still fish with it.

Great video! Did you sail from Galveston? I love fishing Port A, spring is going to bring some amazing fishing! Say no to pelicans
@KagenFishing5 жыл бұрын
L S yes I did sail from Galveston offshore down to port A. Took 34 hrs haha. Yah I can’t wait for the water to start warming up cause when it does I will be down there. Yah that pelican was aggressive but I figured it would be cool to get on video.

Not a terrible place. Too bad the people really really suck and will Rob you blind any chance they get. Just a high priced tourist trap that's going to get more expensive.

Please do not ever feed the pelicans. They become extremely aggressive towards fishermen and are quite a problem in the port a, aransas pass area. I've seen them go after elderly and young fishermen when they reel in a fish. I saw one little girl throw her rod down and run away. The pelican ended up with a hook in his bill and the little girl vowed never to fish again. The best thing you can do for the birds is to chase them away. They were better off when they were cautious of humans.
@KagenFishing5 жыл бұрын
Wow that’s wild. We have a bunch of pelicans in the Galveston area but have never encountered an aggressive one before. I wonder what makes them like that in the port A area vs other places?
@jaimesaenz2215 жыл бұрын
Sanctimonious, know it all winter Texans make them extra aggressive. "That's just not how we do things in Minisoda dontchaknow"
@pissedoffconservative3475 жыл бұрын
I feed them all the time. And yes they are a bit aggressive True story But I just throw mullet at them. And they hate squid. Lpl
@johnallenlauridsenjr.33955 жыл бұрын
@@jaimesaenz221 I'll take a Yankee over a Texan every day. Firstly, Texans don't work for shit. Second, they whine about everything. Third, without your winter Texans this piece of shit sandbar wouldn't exist. And lastly, this comes from a Yankee on the island fixing Texas shit. Moron.
