I can't thank you enough for these videos. You are excellent at explaining, teaching, and demonstrating. On a whim I decided to produce a cinematic small film for my significant other. She won't return home until middle of next month. The task has been daunting. Really glad that I ran across your channel, from drone shots, handheld shots, and the biggest task of them all...editing. Thank you so much for what you do with these videos!!!!

After I watched this video I watched Fellowship of the Rings in kdean live with the graphs on. I will never look at a movie the same way again. Their use of color and light to tell the story is phenomenal. Thanks for this video. This has dramatically helped my amateur footage.

This video has helped a bit in letting me know that the struggle when it comes to learning and implementing color grading and correction is real but maybe it was due to the way it is taught. I am currently learning Video Editing, Color Grading on Davinci Resolve. A software known for its sophistication and steep learning curve, especially when it comes to learning color grading becomes difficult, but knowing the success that lies in the end makes the learning journey worth it. In your video, you're using Final Cut Pro, but I'm sure the same workflow can be implemented on Davinci Resolve as well, right?!

Novice Question for you - I have been given some already edited footage which captures our play and which we want to stream - the trouble is one camera is significantly darker than the other two - I have ascertained that I can unpick the edit in Final Cut Pro but just need a fast novice way to balance the darker shots with the lighter. Preferably without having to lighten laboriously each clip. Editor doesn’t know what else to do - so as ever it is long suffering (poor me) that has to fix it ... I can see that this video answers some of the questions but I don't relish unpicking a2 hour digital file to correct every dark shot.
