Yours is the first that explains the setup, balance and use of the gimbal in such a detailed and easy-to-follow way. I am still struggling with the Tilt + Top/Bottom Heavy adjustments. Thank you so much for this video! I just got the RS 3 Mini a few weeks ago and only really watched a video on how to balance the camera on it. My results were very disappointing. After watching this video I feel like my gimbal knowledge was increased 100x! Just showing how to change that dial to something else to stop the focus error from coming up on my Sony camera was great, but the way you explained the different follow modes is the best I've heard, and now I actually understand the differences. Plus, I know and understand how and why I would want to use the Lock Mode as well. As a long time pro photographer and drone pilot who is just adding "from the ground" video to what I want to offer clients, your video is a big first step in getting me ready to start getting video clients. I am a subscriber and will be back to watch more! Thanks again!

This is hands down the best tutorial video on the mini I have found but there is still something that I’m having trouble with and none of the videos seem to cover it. Everytime I use my Nikon z6 and the 24-70 lens on vertical I’m not capable of using it in ptf mode and I can’t figure out why. Aside from that, thank you for your incredible video.

For Tilt adjustment, first aim the camera straight up and adjust the relative arm. After it aims up level, then set the lens straight and adjust the relative arm. Don’t waste time adjusting both at once.

Fantastic video. Bought my RS2 Mini yesterday. I have a very old A6400 and your video helped me a lot. Unfortunately none of the bluetooth functions work with the gimbal with the A6400. ( i even had to buy a separate cable to connect the camera )

Just bought one of these for my Nikon, these tutorials are an absolute bonus. One minor criticism on the gimbal is that it might have been useful if there were little thumb wheels on the arms for precise balancing. I do find moving the cradles manually along the arms tends to be a bit stiff.

Hey man great video really comprehensive but I think youd really benefit from keeping things more segment For example the balancing segemnt is 8 minutes, theres a video on youtube that does it in 40 seconds. Definitely not saying to rush it that much but just shows the potential to really trim things down

Wow! There are some features I didn't realize these gimbals have that I see just by watching this video! I didn't realize that lock feature as well as the one where you can lock certain motors. Now I have the DJI RS3. Not the Mini or the Pro, so I am assuming mine has all of these features too, so I will have to check them out tomorrow. I love your videos on this stuff! I know, I know... I should just read the instructions, but I tend to not and figure things out by video reviews and video instructions.

Thanks Jeven for the great review, I just placed an order on RS Mini 3 today. I was so done with Zhiyun Weebill S after some use, it was good first but then it stopped working with the recording on/off button. That was a deal breaker for my real estate shoots to have to push the record button on the camera every time. I'm definitely looking forward to this RS 3 Mini gimbal, vertical shoot mode will be very useful for my real estate gigs too!
