Sans could not have won this fight without papyrus, because papyrus could actually take hits for sans, allowing sans to get in large damage using KR and invincibility frame removal, (in fact if the Invincibility frame removal was also active for papyrus papyrus could deal 12 damage per frame or 360 damage per second with an attack). If papyrus wasn't there sans probably would have had a hard time even fighting Jevil solo.

Papyrus would realistically lose in the first minute of the fight. And then it would be 2v1 against Sans. Considering how easily tired Sans gets, he wouldn't last long against *both* Spamton NEO and Jevil.

@memespactic Well... we don't know what it takes to kill Jevil as he can have his 3,500 HP depleted and only be tired afterwards. Spamton Neo is also special case as well as there are 3 possible fight results for him and only 1 of them has him being killed due to outside help. We also don't really know how Sans can handle more than one opponent attacking him. In Undertale, it takes 21 turns of attacking to beat Sans... we are not sure how this would be affected if the number of opponents he had are increased and we also don't know how it would affect Sans if he had to dodge the bullet hell attacks from Jevil and Spamton instead of just one attack per turn. Speed isn't that big of a deal either as Sans is always faster than our attacks in Genocide but it only delayed the inevitable. It would be a bit more complicated to say if it was a 1v1 but it isn't.
