Spamtons fight feels way more reminiscent of undertale where you just wait it out. Of course that’s not all you do but it really felt like it. Jevil was far more exhilarating trying to keep your party alive and saving up TP for hypnosis was so engaging Edit: I have now completed the snowgrave rout and the Spamton fight there is much more fun. I’m not sure if it surpasses jevil though. I need to fight him some more before I make up my mind.

I think everyone will agree that Spamton is better than Jevil... In being a character! He has more screen time, more memorable design, text and role in the story, and that the only way they can be compared. They're both cool and enjoyable characters, and that says I, a human being, that strongly disliked the purple jester before, and which started to understand why people love Jevil! He's goofy, goofy.

Ok, lemme make my own cuz why not •Design: Jevil, though he isn't memorable enough than his opponent because without bright colour-theme and isn't that simple, Spamton just looks kinda weird for me. Jevil really seems like a clown & dark being, who was jailed into a prison forever for his insanity and that u need to be afraid of, while he has a cheerful mood. And Spamton...a little sponge with weird appearance, with the only things I like are his ability to turn to dead-inside and his still weird, but original and crazy yellow-pink glasses. •Boss-fight: Spamton, cuz it isn't that hard but still is the only worthy challenge in the whole chapter lol, funnier, "drivy" and an epic soundtrack that makes everything more "drivy". Jevil is really good too, some people may like his difficulty like me, +freedom & chaos vibes. But still Spamton wins. •Music: Jevil, because it sounds more & *more* beautiful, isn't really less intense than Big Shot, and also gives a lot of freedom, circus & chaos vibes. Big Shot'd win only if you'd judge by how cool it sounds in the battle. •Strength: Jevil, I haven't anything to add more, but I don't think that's a term of finding out which character is better. But still. •Backstory: Spamton, it just has more details, more realistic and just seems like better, lol. •Personality(ye, I added it myself, cuz dummy author didn't find it important to include, lol): Spamton, that's kinda obvious, but somehow difficult to explain. Anyway, it's very similar to Snas moment, when character is funny, positive, mysterious, creepy and depressive at the same time. But Spamton acts more freaky and is more of antagonist than Sans, because he was ready for the deaths just to become more successful. He is also very glitchy and, as I said, freaky. Oh, and Jevil is just a creepy insane positive clown who knows a lot. The biggest reason of Spamton win is his amount of screen time, 2nd is his weirdness with sadness •Memorable: Spamton as well, kinda the same as with the personality. And so, results: Spamton - 4 Jevil - 3 But I should admit, I like Jevil more. He was really close to Spamton in the rounds where he was losing, but Spamton mostly wasn't. And anyway, we sadly can't deny that Spamton is a higher quality character

here's my opinion: jevil fits better in with the rest of the darkners, and the detail is amazing. however, spamton ties in his story. fight: i think jevil has cooler attacks that are also MUCH harder, but again, spamton's attacks are more dynamic and creative. music: alright imma be honest, the world revolving didn't really stick with me much, however big shot is an absolute bop. in a fight: jevil, reasons in videos. it'd be hard though, since he has bluelight specil. backstory: spamton's backstory makes more sense and is much more clear-cut. he also has ties TO not only jevil but also "mike," who i assume will be the king and queen of chapter 3 since jevil teases queen. memorable: that lil scamp spamton

I'll just say this: Spamton's goal was to break free from his strings. Metaphorically and literally. Jevil's entire arc was that he already succeeded in doing exactly that and just got bored with it. He wanted to be a puppet again. Because freedom kinda sucks when you're the only one who has it.

Jevel is more of a videogame character than spampton. What i mean by this is that Spampton is a sailsmen who lives in a garbidge can who likes money and wants to be as sucessful and as powerful as possable also has sighns of depreshion when he realized nothing matters. Jevel doesn't caire about any of that all he wants to do is cause cayous in his owhn way and sometimes repeat words rimes sometimes predict the future and hese a coart jester. And that should be it... "hears meglovaina in the background" ooh no Sans hese a skeleton just like his brother is an older character than Jeval and Spampton hese very layed back and chill pun he lives in snowdin loves puns workes multaple jobs and he knows about a lot of things inculding other dimentions that ezist also he will do everything in his power to try and kick youre but. Sorry Sans and Spampton my favoriate is Jevel dont know why but that's how it is.

ima make my own analysis on this why not, also dont judge me its my opinon - character design honestly i think jevil has the best character design because theres just a lot of detail and a lot of refrences, and im not saying spamton has bad character design i think his is still good but honestly spamton doesnt have too much detail, and i personally like it when theres detail in sprites (spamtons character design is still really good) jevil 1 | spamton 0 - boss fight spamtons fight is really cool and brings back the yellow soul..but its really easy after ur first time fighting spamton neo (idk if it is for anyone else but it is for me) but jevil is really challenging and his final chaos is cool despite it just being devilsknifes falling in certain patterns, so i have to say jevils fight is better (spamtons is still good and slightly challenging) jevil 2 | spamton 0 - battle themes jevils theme is good, its kind of chaotic but it fits his personality a lot, but spamtons theme (im just gonna do big shot) is really good too, theres actually lyrics that are saying something, in my opinon both are good so im just gonna tie it jevil 3 | spamton 1 - which is more powerful (i did a different title but its the same as in the video) honestly i think jevil is more powerful because as said in the video, jevil can just cut spamtons strings with devilsknifes and jevil is fast so hed be able to dodge, despite the fact that i dont know if jevil would survive the telephone hands attack because it basicly corners you meaning jevil has nowhere to move, but jevil has way more hp than kris, susie, or ralsei in chapter 2 so hed probably survive anyway, i think jevil would probably be able to beat spamton jevil 4 | spamton 1 - backstory spamton has a pretty sad but intresting backstory, hes a failing salesman who went insane due to a unknown person helping him, but jevil also has a sad but intresting backstory, someone made him go insane and see life as a game, leading to him getting locked up, i have to tie it again because both are intresting and good jevil 5 | spamton 2 - memorability in my opinon jevil is more memorable to me, im not sure why, its probably because jevil is really challenging and when his theme the world revolving plays i remember how much i struggled on my first time fighting him, but spamton i sometimes even forget im gonna fight him, because the fight is a bit too easy for me and he isnt really mentioned in any of the normal routes (pacifist, genocide) once i even forgot i was doing genocide spamton neo and killed spamton then realized it right when i got past tasque manager results: jevil - 5 spamton - 2 i personally think jevil is better because spamton is sort of overrated but in a good way, and spamton is still good but jevil is "better" because hes a lot more memorable in my opinon and he has some intresting lore thats hard to find the full of i still think spamton is good but jevil is also good

Spamton beats Jevil, spamton being weaker in Jevil is poor storytelling, which toby isn't bad at storytelling. Spamton narratively would be way stronger than Jevil, Jevil even himself says there are others ahead stronger than him. Literally referring to spamton.

I don’t think he was JUST referring to spamton plus there are way too many ways Jevil can easily beat Spamton like just teleport and use his scythe on Spamton’s strings because Spamton cannot be a Big Shot (his words) because he cannot stand up or use the amour without the strings and if we are talking about a fair fight Spamton isn’t faster than Jevil and Spamton has to aim his attacks and normally uses a pattern this is an advantage towards jevil because Jevil’s attacks are chaotic and faster and he could basically just summon a bunch of attacks if he wanted to because I’m not sure if he actually was just trying to kill kris or just messing with them but if we could say something then Jevil might have some IQ normally attacking Ralsei the mage that can pacify and heal teammates but Durability goes to spamton if Jevil is attacking the body because we’ll the amour is the only thing with neo and the strings have nothing with defense and Spamton can malfunction if he takes enough damage if we attack him and defeat however Jevil is immortal only going to sleep after fighting you either path (fighting or pacifying) so it’s really unclear who takes Defense/Durability so I’m just going to give the Durability to Spamton because why NEO and if spamton is trying to kill Jevil then he loses because you can’t kill jevil he only gets tired and goes to sleep as a weapon/amour

Literally everything related to spamton works. Jevil you are thrown into things with no idea what to possibly expect to face. And the world revolving only works with the stage and the Mary go round attack. Spamton is harder than jevil in the fact that you have to keep a eye on your soul and shoot the projectiles at the same time but jevil you just have to run and do nothing special, unlike spamton which you can use a big shot or a small shot. All of spamton's attacks are unique in their own way. And jevil has no fake out attack which would make sense because he represents the joker card. And at least you don't have to hear (CHAOS CHAOS, BYE BYE, and METAMORPHOSIS) every time you die in spamton's fight. Just be grateful for the new secret boss in chapter 3.

About difficulty, when you get to properly use the soul, fight becomes surprisingly easy, expect some attacks they are really easy to dodge. But jevils is much harder to memorize and they are almost completly chaotic which makes it hard. Thought, giving new soul trait is amazing, jevil in my opinion is harder. Fake out attack. Jevil have fakeout attack where he pretends to be tired and givs a weak attack. Its easy to dodge and scripted to go before final chaos. Next, CHAOS CHAOS, BYE BYE, and METAMORPHOSIS doesnt happen when you die, but rather in battle (and i dont find them annoying). Also that spamton laugh everytime you fight spamton is more annoying and takes time.
