This is undoubtedly the best sermon on intercession that I’ve ever heard about the importance of partnering with the Holy Spirit when praying and answers so many questions we’ve all had. It takes the pressure off of us and places it on the one that said that His yoke is easy and His burden is light. Please consider doing more teaching on this topic. I know it could be exactly what the body of Christ needs as the prayer movement is being shaken to its very foundations.

This is some of the best wisdom on the subject of prayer. If some of the people who believe it is not always God‘s will to heal would understand some of this it would be so helpful. This can be applied in many areas of life as well when it comes to praying for others. So good! Brother Hagan taught these things as well and a lot of people do not seem to know that. It seems that son believe that all he taught was faith, healing and prosperity, but that of course is not so.

Great point ‘my stand might not be his stand’. And I like how he asking God for answers and patiently waits to learn how God works. Thanks you for this video. And it gave me peace.

Same here. I have been blessed by brother Higgins teaching since I was 14 years old. I’m 32 now. Most all of the things that I hear of people say about him and other fake teachers either are totally untrue, or highly exaggerated. They will take one snippet of a quote within a long message, take it out of context and build a strawman. I’m not saying I agree with everything every faith teacher says, because I have not and do not, but as a hoe it has been a tremendous blessing to the body of Christ and I’m thankful for people like brother Rod who will highlight these things and give a good sound biblical defense. We need more people like him. Totally with you on that. Sorry for the typos.

His delivery reminds me a great deal of Brother Hagin. It has been said that congregations act like their pastors. Peace and good will.

Yeah, he traveled with Dad Hagin and worked with cameras, audio, and was even a catcher for awhile. No question that his style reflects that of his mentor.

Fascinating! 💯😮 I'm interested in understanding more about what he means by the Holy Spirit "giving" us intercession. I might have to watch a few more of his videos on prayer when I have some time. But I like what he's saying. ✅ Keep up the great work, Rod! 😎👍

So what when people do want healing but still pass away ?…..my dad believed without doubt that God would heal him from cancer…he would call me and say that he can’t wait to come to where I live and speak at my church about the power of God …. He would talk about his love of God and Gods love for him all the time….. Whilst I partly agree with this….it doesn’t resonate fully with me ….. I think we are missing something, don’t know what yet Friends of ours, had their daughter drown in a backyard swimming pool…she was revived at the scene and they called us and asked us to come to the hospital, they said their daughter didn’t have oxygen to her brain for too long and the Drs are saying she will be a vegetable…anyway we prayed and a miraculous healing took place. That was over 20 years ago and she married recently :) But a few years later another family friend called to say their 2 year old daughter had been hit by a car….same deal as our other friends daughter, but she died ….. Sometimes we come up with a theology to back up our failures in prayer ….. but not all are biblical

So I totally agree with what the other brother said. I feel for you and your losses. I have recently had two of my best friends on this planet go home to be with the Lord because of Covid. They both went home a little over a month apart and it has been very difficult. In times like these, we have one of two choices. We can either major on what we don’t know, or we can major on what we do now. Deuteronomy 29:29 is a big help to me in those situations. The secret things belong until the Lord our God, but that which is revealed belongs to us and to our children forever. We do not know why every individual does not receive healing, what we do know is himself took our infirmities and bore our sicknesses. There are times the Lord may reveal to us and there are times, probably most of the time, when he does not. If he does not see fit to reveal this, the best thing to do is to give those things over to the Lord and go on in faith trusting him. Another thing is that none of us are walking 100% in all of the provisions that God has for us. There are absolutely so many promises and provisions of God that we fall short up simply by virtue of being human, not having the knowledge, not pushing through in faith, etc., but he does not condemn us for it. He knows we are in a fallen world and we are all at different levels of faith. It is not like if you have faith in one area, you will necessarily have faith in another. It is possible in various areas to have no face, little face, great face, etc. Not that it is the amount that is the key, but I simply say this to point out that Jesus talked about various levels of faith. But in the midst of it all, we have faith in a God who is faithful. He is trust worthy. If Jesus took my infirmities and bore my sicknesses, I am not going to develop a theology that contradicts that, or that nullifies that. Not to draw attention to myself in a negative way or anything, but I have been blind since birth. I have never had vision, which is why Siri is making typos right now because I am dictating to her… Sorry about that. Lol I made a decision when I was a teenager that no matter when I receive the manifestation of my healing, I refuse to allow my experience in this area to dictate what the word reveals. I can either allow my experience to interpret the word, or I can allow the word to interpret my experience and believe God to come up higher in my experience just like everyone else. My particular physical issue may be different from others who may not stand out as much, but everyone has certain experiences that are in need of change. We are all in process. We are all endeavoring to persevere in sanctification and we are all in different places. We are all coming up higher. The first thing I did when my friends went home to be with the Lord was to recommit to preach and teach faith and healing as strongly as I ever have if not stronger. Our experience is not the barometer of truth, the word of God is and all of our friends in glory with echo the same thing. They are encouraging us to successfully by faith continue to run this race.

Interesting. I like curry, but I have heard him say that if someone prays for someone and they are not healed, that they were not in faith. I am a faith guy, but does he take into account teaching like this? Because there definitely are a lot of factors to this. I even heard him teach one time that there are no hindrances to healing. I’m like… Yeah there are. Lol

@@ryandawson2877Jesus said in Mark 7:13 that some people make the word of God of no effect through their tradition.Jesus also said to the apostles that they could not heal the epileptic because of their FAITH.Now when you walk in faith in Gods word and promises and you dont have traditions of wrong doctrine why God cant heal(Sovereignity,Pauls thorn,Timothy stomach,Job etc.)then their are no hindrances to healing, that is why they have such a good record of healings. The believer who knows the word can have faith for the unbeliever,at least 1 of them should have faith, but if the believer prays and dont have results then the believer should never tell the unbeliever it is because of lack of faith on the unbelieverrs side.Curry is very against that and also he never take up a offering during healing services-freely you have received, freely you give.God bless.
