1) Stop worrying because there is no need to worry (and it doesn’t change anything). Philippians 4:6-7 says '6 Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. 7 And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.’ 2) Talk to God about it. Confess that you have been worried and ask him to help you let go. Thank Him for helping you let go, for His perfect will and His perfect peace. Pray that He will have His will in your life and in any situation. 3) Trust that God is going to carry you challenging times and receive His perfect peace. Isaiah 26:3 says ‘You will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast, because they trust in you.’ 4) Spend time with Him in His word and in prayer and you will be drawn closer to him. God will give you His perfect peace and all you need to do is receive it. God is unchanging, he is there yesterday, today and tomorrow. GOD LOVES YOU and He is a GOOD GOD. He wants the absolute best for you and there is no challenge that he can’t defeat. So please dont give up. No matter how bad things get, God will always help you through it. Even though things are tough right now, I encourage you to just start spending time alone with God, just telling Him how you feel, and what you are going through. Open the bible, and read a few chapters, so that it can speak to your heart. Draw close to God again, and He will draw close to you. Start to develop that relationship, and lay your burdens down at the cross. He hasnt forgotten about you, and I know He has a plan for your situation. Surrender everything to Him, put your trust back in Him, and you are going to start seeing a change. He cares for you and has a special purpose for you. It may not seem like it now, but you watch Him start working in your life. Will keep you in my prayers, Be blessed

I am having difficulty listening to this preaching, I am an independent person in some areas. I don't really like asking for help unless work work-related. I am struggling with intrusive thoughts or let's say evil thoughts even though I don't like it. I recognize that I need God's help there are times I want to pursue happiness because I am always walking on eggshells, and have to be considerate to the point of not thinking how about me. Am I not important? Why do I always have to do things I never want to do, when I was a child I had no choice, I mean no, I was naive. Now I am a grown-up because I don't have money or a car. I want to be happy, I want to pursue my dreams, I want to have balls, I HAVE HOBBIES/LEISURES. I pray and believe that I need Jesus but I feel pressured listening to this every Sunday. Just sharing. I need grace and repent from my sins, I want to treat people right with my mind, I am judgmental because I experience bullying, and I don't know who to trust except the people closest to me.

@artemwings1066, I can tell you with confidence that God is here with you, and He knows all your conflicting thoughts and feelings. He always holds the answers. I don't have things all figured out, but I know He does. I don't think you're alone with wanting things for yourself and wanting to be independent. I think we all struggle with that. Lord Jesus, you have all power and authority. Please block these intrusive thoughts from bothering and hindering this child from coming to you. Please help them to be honest with you about their struggles and feelings, just as they have done here in this comment. Turn their mind and their heart to you more and more each day. Teach them your way and your truth. We thank you that you know them and you love them so much! In your powerful name, Amen.

Do you have a relationship wit the Lord? Are you spending time in prayer, getting to know Him personally, and developing a relationship? Are you reading the word, asking the Holy Spirit for understanding, so you can build a strong foundation. Its essential. If you are not doing these things, then the enemy is going to take advantage, and start controlling your mind. If you possess the Holy Spirit, then allow Him to take control. If the Holy Spirit controls someone’s mind, it will lead to life and peace. “But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law” (Galatians 5:22). Without the Holy Spirit we can do nothing. He is the key. We must have the Holy Spirit to be saved. Just pray, Holy Spirit, I yield my mind to your total control. I will not be controlled by my sinful nature; The Holy Spirit inside me shall continue to control my mind. I am not carnally minded; I am spiritually-minded. I won’t copy the behavior and customs of this world but allow God to transform me into a new person by changing the way I think in Jesus’ name. You can surrender your life to the Lord wherever you are. All you have to do is simply humble your heart and pray with faith, I repent of my sins, and I turn to You. You said in Your word that if we confess with our mouth the Lord Jesus, and believe in our hearts that God raised Him from the dead, we shall be saved. I ask You Father to forgive me of all my sins, and ask You to fill me with the Holy Spirit. Take control of my life. From this day forward, I will live for you.. Its not about the words, its about your heart. God knows your heart, and if you are sincere, He will respond....And once you have received salvation, you can talk to the Holy Spirit throughout the day. Especially when temptations come. Ask the Holy Spirit to remove it from your mind, and it will flee. You just need to have faith and put 100% trust in Him, and then you will get help from God. Draw close to God, and He will draw close to you. I pray it helps, and you find what you truly need with Jesus. He did it for me, and I know He will do it for you. Its the most important decision of your life. Dont wait! Today is the day of salvation. We never know when our time is up. I will pray for you. Dont give up! Pour out your heart and He will respond. Have you been reading the word daily, even if its only a chapter or 2, inviting the Holy Spirit to read with you? Asking the Holy Spirit to help you understand, and to speak to you through scripture? Its essential. The Holy Spirit wants to fellowship with you. He lives inside you. You are not alone. The more time you spend talking to the Holy Spirit, the closer to the Lord you will get. And when you read the word, you will begin to see Him guiding you to scripture that you may need at that moment. It will become more enjoyable, and you will look forward to that time each day in prayer. That is what God desires with you. The more time you spend alone with God, and allow the Holy Spirit to teach you, the stronger you will become, and it will be much easier to avoid temptations when they come. You will not want to ruin that relationship that you have developed with Jesus. And when temptations come, capture them immediately, and ask the Holy Spirit to remove the desire in Jesus name. The longer you entertain it, the harder it will be to avoid. Run from it if you have to. But the key is the Holy Spirit. He is your teacher and helper. He will guide you to your purpose in Christ. But you must depend upon Him, and allow Him to change your heart. And that comes only through prayer and the word of God. God never turns His back on us. The Holy Spirit is the key. We can do nothing without Him. That is why God sends Him to live inside every believer upon salvation. He is the Gods seal, and your evidence you have been Born Again. In the bible it says if you say you are without sin you are fooling yourself. You receive the Holy Spirit that very moment you put your faith in Jesus Christ. Doesn’t mean you will never sin anymore but you will hate it if you give into it. But remember God is faithful and if you confess your sins to Him He will forgive you.
