What has a person's political party got to do with his health? We all have the right to belong to any political party of our choice , so when are helping someone we help the person as a human being and not because he/she belongs to our party. This is sickening!

Be objective on the subject matter discussed. Jewel Ackah shouldn't be in this situation in the first place considering his sacrifice and contribution to the NDC. His music career or livelihood suffered because of the NDC, yes we can agree with you on the right to associate with a political party of your choice. But he was neglected by this same party, they don't deserve his contribution especially the famous 'Arise, Arise' song. A good highlife sound, wonderful progression and sweet flowing voice. A very good patriotic song by all standards.

@ Bernard A. Your comment is the most sensible I’ve read on this thread. The problem is obviously bigger than any political party; the issue is planning for the future. MUSIGA, for example, could set up pension and health plans, and encourage members to contribute to. If they invest the contributions responsibly, they should be able to secure the future welfare of the members/contributors. We place too much hope and expectations on politicians; they have never been the answer, and never will.
