I make gummys all the time . 4oz.jello flavored 3 pks of no flovor or plain gelatin Mix together 1 cup of cold water mix 1cup of hot water mix Microwave for 1 to 2 minutes depending on the wattage of microwave Than any silicone design you like Then chill for 12 hours is what I do make them the night before Yummy

yes,maybe you can use jello-O,but then,please watch melting temperature of gelatin and agar;)

Lassia I remember the same problem i saw on a show when a baker took his family on vacation in Italy and when he asked a baker in a bakery about "cream cheese", he had no idea what it is except that he called "cream cheese" by its brand and not "cream cheese". Instead he called it "Philadelphia", the brand of the cream cheese which is well known here in the U.S. So maybe you need to find "Philadelphia" and not call it "cream cheese" that we are accustomed to here in the U.S. Try that.

there's no difference in the result really, but people tend to use agar sometimes because it's vegan

^ Cairy is right. There are no difference in taste. Agar is just vegan (extracted from seaweed). Agar however, can solidify (or turn into a jelly state) in room temperature. Gelatin is unable to do that.
