Jewel of the Seas-British Isles Cruise

My third back to back to back cruise on Royal Caribbean's Jewel of the Seas was the best. Mark and Elisa joined me on the cruise and I met a bunch of great people. Really enjoyed Liverpool visiting the Beatle's Story, Beatles Museum and Mathews street. Thanks for watching. Hi J, Yes all new places and don't know if I'll every be back so the tours seemed the way to go. Mark is a big Beatles fan I really enjoyed the Billy Joel tribute.

This looks like a really fun cruise Larry - Question, to take this tour you'd need to fly to Amsterdam? I for one like to see the food they offer, its all part of the experience. Nice to see you received the royal treatment on the ship! Can't wait to see Greece!!! Thanks for sharing.

Thanks for your information. Can you tell me did the Hop on Hop Off bus stopped at the port in Belfast? It's always so hard to tell if there will be a simple way to get from the port to a city. We will be taking the Jewel British Isle cruise and then the Iceland cruise after that in August-Sept.

Hi Greta, thanks for watching and the nice comments. Royal Caribbean had free shuttle buses that took us from the terminal to Belfast city center a distance of a few miles. We caught the Hop on Hop off at the city Hall where the cruise shuttle dropped us off. Hope you enjoy your cruises we had a great time.

Hi Ranini, depends upon what you're looking for. If history (castles, Loch Ness, Beatles, etc) is your bag you'll love the cruise. If you're into beaches and rum drinks go to the Caribbean or Mediterranean. Most people on the cruise were 40 and up but that said there was a lot of partying going on.

Ireland is not a British Isle. Ireland lies mostly in Irish Territorial waters not British Territorial waters. The Majority of citizens on the Island of Ireland are Irish citizens not British citizens. Ireland can no longer be called a British Isle since it regained its Independence and Territorial waters in 1922.
