Hi there. Thanks so much for that. it's really great to get a comment like this. its really difficult to "find your way" on KZbin at the beginning.

It certainly is. The videos you work hard to produce and edit on subjects you think will truly engage and entertain people can sometimes attract little attention. Then you film lots of pictures of food on a cruise ship, and thousands tune in!! Persevere is our most encouraging advice. But also watch the work of others for tips and ideas, and remember to hashtag all your video descriptions so people can find your work easily. Good luck sir.....and keep on the move, moving 👍 @@peteonthemove

Thank you so much for posting this video. We just booked this cruise for next year, and I have been looking for a video that has info of the cruise. We are actually doing the cruisetour, that includes 4 days on land in Ireland.

We just returned from the 12 day British Isles cruise. One complaint. The LeHarve stop "for Paris and Normandy is a misrepresentation bordering on fraud. Either will cost a couple $1,000.00 and doing both is not possible. The cruise line highlights these stops because their older US customer base sees Normandy and the D-Day beaches as sacred ground.

Its a common ploy by cruise lines I'm afraid Sam. We were recently on a Baltic cruise where they described Warnemunde as the "gateway" to Berlin. Berlin was 3 hours away by train.

Great video, Thanks for posting.. We are doing the same cruise on the 20th July.. Can you tell me if you had to take any kind of COVID 19 test before boarding the ship please? PCR OR LATERAL FLOW TEST.... Thank you in advance Paul..
@peteonthemove2 жыл бұрын
Thanks very much. Yes, we had to take a lateral flow. We took this before we left home over a zoom call. But it was possible to take a test at the port too. I'm not sure if the need to test has changed since May, so I would check the Princess website for up to date info.

@@peteonthemove Thank you for your reply.. How did you get the test on zoom please? Has it got to be taken 3 days before your Sail date? Sorry foe all the questions.. Kind regards Paul
@peteonthemove2 жыл бұрын
@@kitchencreations3452 Hi. Yes it was 3 days. We used a company called Prenetics. It was the company recommended by Princess. They observed you doing the test online. It was easy.

Would you be kind enough to let me know how you got into Dublin from the Ship please?
@peteonthemove2 жыл бұрын
@@alanturner7685 its a short walk to the train station. We got the train in which was really easy. Takes about 20 minutes. There was a hop on hop off service at the Dublin end too. There were people selling a combined ticket for the train and the ho ho at the South Queensferry and end.

Just one more question please my wife has asked if there were any covid cases on ship while you were on it ?

Ireland is not a British Isle. Ireland is not part of the UK. The Majority of Ireland lies mainly in Irish Territorial waters not British Territorial waters. The Majority of citizens on the Island of Ireland are Irish citizens not British citizens.

Thanks for the lecture. Maybe you should contact Princess and explain their mistake.

The term ‘British Isles’ is a geographic term for all islands in the archipelago. Includes the islands of Great Britain, the islands of Ireland, and the Isle of Man. This is different from the term Great Britain, (which is the island that consists of Wales, England and Scotland plus their associated islands) and the United Kingdom (GB and Northen Ireland)

@@user-yf4el8kv1v Thanks for the comprehensive and more importantly, factual information. Cheers for that x

Hence, Ireland is a British Isle, but not part of GB or the Uk.
