My husband and I have this in composite chart. I ended up walking away from marriage after 25 years. I can say that I never wanted to be right...I just wanted emotional honesty. He twist words around...his own and mine. I would always encourage his individuality however, he would always critique my individuality. I took on alot of his projections. He lives very much in his unconscious and he would always need to be right to the point of misrepresenting. After 5 years of self reflection and deep inner work...I realized that he was not willing to work on his own change. Definitely a hard aspect to overcome if both parties are not individually working on themselves and not supporting of each others personal growth. I am so thankful for this. Paused the video just so I could comment. This particular person I’ve been involved w off and on throughout the years feels like the love of my life. In our composite as well as synastry there is a lot going on. There is also quite a bit on our side but like every relationship there are things to overcome. I almost actually ignored this part of our relationship of an ego war until I decided to look more into this aspect that came up in our composite. 0 degree orb the first one on the list. And you, so far from what I’ve seen in the video, have laid it out perfectly as if you knew us. There really is a lot more to us. We even have 2 grand trines, 3 kites, 2 yods, 2 cradles, and a t square. Pluto is the Yod, Mars in 2 of the kites. Still all really complicated but I’m very interested in all of this and love seeing it unfold. She is very dear to my heart, I love her but we do have things we need to be aware of if it ever worked. Another difficult aspect is Venus square Jupiter which perfectly tells how much we indulge in each other. I just hope that if time and the universe allows us to come back together that we can work together and work with these aspects. Thank you again for sharing!

Slightly OT, but I have the Opposition Natally & in Synastry with my partner (his Pluto on my Pluto & Op. my Mars). When we were younger, it destroyed us. Decades later we reformed & yes, it still rears it's ugly head. We have a "swords down policy" & walk away before we start slicing each other up (though the pull to do so is ENORMOUS). We become distant & cool for a while, but can actually recover now & move on (until the next time! =) As we are getting better at it, it's occurring less often (tf!). Maturity certainly helps, as does the "Do I want to be right or happy?" way of thinking. He's a Scorp Sun/Rising, Leo Moon, Cap Mars. I'm a Pisces Sun, Cap Rising, Aries Moon, Pisces Mars. I really think what needs to be emphasized is the couples spiritual emotional and mental maturity! I’ve come to understand that every aspect has both a positive and a negative that can come with or manifest! You can’t say that a relationship is going to be xyz because of some hard aspects they have between them! Sometimes it may not even be them! It might just be external circumstances that can be a wedge. It’s a case by case or very much an individual situation! Not one size fits all. So instead of saying that a potential connection is going to play out a certain way because of one or even a few aspects in a relationship chart… you shouldn’t scare people like that. To me, I’ve seen couples have many soft aspects which didn’t play out that way because of the people!! I think what makes significance is if the planets talk to each other at all. If they happen to connect, soft aspects? Soft aspect’s in some cases can be that similarity on a lighter scale and/or it’s less intense. Hard aspects are just more intensive and hard to ignore or overlook. Depending on other placements and the emotional maturity of the person will determine how these scenarios can play out. But to say that something is going to be xyz without knowing the circumstances and situations is irresponsible on the readers part. I think a reader can say the best case scenario and/or the worst case scenario, but that there is no definitive outcome in and of itself without looking at the chart as a whole and/or the people.

+NamiBurger Typically, most couples are not going to get to the end of this aspect to experience the positives that can come from it. The sublimation of one's ego is just too great for most people to see value in or even be able to do if they wanted. You really have to stand down and allow things to happen and that is next to impossible with this aspect....not impossible, but next to impossible. It's rare to see this aspect in functioning relationships.

How would this play out if both have it natally and then in the composite in a 10-degree opposition Mars (2nd House) Pluto (8th House)? I had this aspect in my previous relationship, my partner didn't have it natally but it showed up in our synastry and composite. Man! I played the "matrix" so many times avoiding her anger issues and the objects she threw at me. I on the other hand who have this aspect natally (avoided) her when she was angry (which kinda made her angrier seemed like) because I do not like confrontation. I come from a very physically abusive home, and I experienced it first hand as a child until the age of 16.

I have this aspect with my partner (mars-me, pluto-him). I do feel that he tries to tame my aggression at times while being a bit manipulative and selfish when it concerns his drives and goals. However, we have jupiter and neptune to help us in the meantime :)

Thank you Jewel! Interestingly, the synastry has an exact Mars/Mars conjunction (it's on her antivertex), and an exact Venus/Pluto opposition (it's loosely conjunct his MC/IC axis). And the moons are also intense in the synastry, but I won't get into them because I'll wind up spewing an aspect stew at you. And yes, the relationship is very, very Plutonian. The question that's yet to be answered is if it's Good-Plutonian or Bad-Plutonian. But with their opposing natal suns each conjunct the composite asc-Saturn/dc axis, and an unaspected composite sun in the 10th house, I'm wondering if this may be one relationship that wants what it wants regardless...

While I'm writing this, I also need to thank you for your videos, ESPECIALLY the video on Lilith-prominent women. I (the woman in the relationship above) have Lilith exactly conjunct my ascendant and retro Saturn. Because of the Saturn (and the quincunx to my sun probably didn't help), Lilith has taken a long time to bubble into my consciousness. Im a bit confused. When I look at MY personal chart, it tells me that Mars opposite Pluto. So this Im learning, signifies conflict and power. Monica this video is regards mars opposite Pluto. From my experience being born in 1983 with mars at around 23 degrees in Aries; at that time Pluto was transiting 28 degrees Libra . Mars is somewhat fast to travel through each sign (40 days not taking into account retrogrades). At that time, Pluto was transiting in Libra (Pluto is slow like 14 years or so). So if in your Natal chart you have an opposition (say mars in Aries opposite Pluto in Libra ), you will likely have the same opposition with others who are around your same age (they will share the same degrees of Pluto because Pluto is very slow). I am dating someone 9 years older and their Pluto is trine 🙏 to my mars. People who are + or - 3 to 4 years my age will always have a Pluto opposite my mars. Keep in mind that with outer planets, the tighter the aspect (closer to 0 degrees 0 minutes), the more significant. I will leave this website so you can take a glimpse at how long planets take in each sign skydoginstitute.com/faq/planetary-movements/ but not 100% if this is accurate. Hope this helps. yes some of us shouldn't watch...(i don't even know if we should be told in advance that a relationship is doom (or very probably doomed) because of some aspects, even if in the realm of relationship reality it is more than often the case anyway, perhap's we are not meant to know, but most of us crave to have a hand on the future and will jump into any way...so :) It would be funny to set off self-fulfilling prophecy !!! Yes there is some of a paradox in watching just before getting in a relationship or while, unless in this case we want to, maybe, understand, certify a "problem". It demand perhap's to consider a relationship as a vehicule to self-growth whatever happens and try to remind hopefull, focus on the good stuff while it last...i found explanations about Neptuniens bad adventures easier to overcome by expriencing them (even as the Neptunien role my self i've learn so much about me watching those videos, natal and so...) and now be able to detect them or to repess them in my self and be aware me being ellusive and delusive. But for my part it's not the case with my super ego. This even if i undertand very well the foolness of ego i didn't manage to get over it ! so if i may have the "chance" to experiment a futur "romantic relationship" with these aspect, i hope i will count among those who will change by experience, i crave getting rid of that F...overwhelming Ego...(not to mention "creepy" sexual inconjunction that would make any one run from it, who wants to experiment those on purpose...some of us again certainly ;) synastry and composite are so complexe due to the natal chart of each protagonist that we may always hope to find solution and of course at least compromise and discover what is negociable and what is not for the next journey !
