A Synastry Chart with no squares is too square as in boring! It's nice to have someone next to you who both respects you, is your friend AND calls you out on your bullshit in a loving fashion. I can't respect a man that only agrees with me all day long... :-)

Honestly there are trines and conjunctions which cause excitement. I prefer those. On the other hand though, synastry is great for figuring out how to make things work.

@@krinka1458 The thing with squares and Oppositions is that they force you to grow and become better and more self aware (if you face them and deal with them that is) Trines, Sextiles and (sometimes) conjunctions don't have this effect. it's so easy that it can become boring and taken for granted. It isn't like there isn't intensity with the harmonious aspects it's just that they are usually so easy that people don't notice them, and they become normal. This doesn't happen with hard aspects because that would mean a toxic relationship. Most people get of out them or want to fight for what they love and conquer these hard aspects, which then creates an extremely strong bond. This is why hard aspects happen in the first place. Not to make your life miserable or hard.

Yes, his Saturn in Taurus was in square with her Venus in Aquarius, but.... she has Venus-Saturn conjunct in Aquarius, Saturn likes Aquarius.. so, as Jewel explain, if you have Capricorn Venus or similar placements you might enjoy this placement or at least don't be bother by it as much. Also: 1) John Lennon had Saturn conjunct Jupiter, so his Jupiter also square her Venus-Saturn conjunction. Jupiter squares might mean overindulgence, that's very interesting; Johns Saturn and Jupiter conjunction was expanding and restricting at the same time. 2) They had incredibly binding contacts: John Lennon's Moon was in Aquarius in opposition to his Pluto in Leo. So, his Moon was in conjunction with her Venus-Saturn conjunction, and his Pluto was in opposition to that (!) 3) They had no Saturn-Mars issues: his mars was in Libra in trine to her Venus-Saturn conjunction, and his Mars didn't make any bad aspects to his own Saturn, so I think his action, his will power worked with her Saturn and Venus. And his Saturn in Taurus was trine to her Mars in Virgo. 4) They talked sweetly to each other: She has Mercury in Pisces and he had Mercury in Scorpio, which means they had great communication and I believe that's key to conquer any squares. Other things they had.... 1) She is a Libra rising, he was an Aries rising, very nice. 2) Her Mars is in Virgo and his Venus was in Virgo.. very hot conjunction to have. (although I'm not sure if this was a conjunction by degree.) 3) She is an Aquarius Sun, he was a Libra, so their egos had a natural affinity. 4) His Mars was in Libra in conjunct with her ascendant, huge physical attraction. Anyway, that's what I've read. 😁

I have mars in 7th conjunct chiron/south node. Im used to abusive guys and dates that go really wrong just generelly but this weekend i met a guy and all we did was hold hands, for like hours. I have venus in capricorn exactly square my saturn, and so my ex-boyfriend who I was with for 3 years had his saturn square my venus too (same age). It's likely because I have capricorn in my chart and I'm super used to the energy, but it felt reliable and smooth if anything tbh! How would be the relationship if synastry is full of saturn squares, oppositions and conjunctions with moon venus mutually but composite chart is full of saturn trine with other planets . Btw initially he was very judgemental and critical of me in the beginning. I was deeply affected and closed off but continued being professional and respectful in our work Later I think he just realised his behaviour without me saying or changing anything and he changed towards me for the better. It was unsaid but mutually understood. Now I feel deeply respected by him and he takes of his tone and words directed towards me. He tries to be gentle towards me. Few people are able to realise their mistakes and CHANGE themselves. And I deeply admire him for that. 🙏❤️

I have a double whammy combo, I have Leo Venus ( we both have Saturn in Taurus) and he has cancer Venus. I've noticed that I criticise his overtly emotional behaviour and in contrast he critiques my partying and mild ( quite mild) attention seeking behaviour... Her work life ( she's retired now) was very centered around being fiscally responsible and providing for/ taking care of myself and her aging immigrant parents who didn't have the means to live by themselves. (Embodying a good side of Saturn no doubt) But I also experienced her just being overburdened a lot and I personally felt criticized very much. Never quite responsible enough in her eyes and like what I valued wasn't quite practical.

To answer your question "is this common in parent child relationship" Personally in mine (I might have forgotten the early years but at least in recent years), I was never told I'm "too sensitive". If my mom said something that have hurt my feelings and I say or do something against it, she will immediately notice and subtlely changes her behaviour or speech accordingly from there onwards. Sometimes it takes a couple of times for the same thing to happen and me speaking against it, but she don't say "don't be so sensitive, I'm only blah blah blah" ever. She know what she said is hurtful and need to stop, period.

It depends on if one identifies with their Venus or Saturn function the most. If it’s Venus one identifies with they can offer more than they receive, if it’s Saturn, they can remain untouchable, until a Saturn “offer” presents itself.

I've got an almost 10 year relationship with this aspect, and I'm the Saturn person and I can straight tell that you have to analyse other aspects on the birth chart. In my case (Saturn) my physical attraction just died cause I was always obssesed with the flaws and pointing them out and off course this posture will kill any desire.
