I also see this as having to be emotionally self-sufficient at a young age. Like if you show weaknesses or if you need something from people they will leave you. That's how it manifests for me at least. I definitely relate to having to earn love though. I cried and it was very uncomfortable sitting through this video. You just described all my insecurities in a nutshel. Even though people say this aspect can't be healed i actually worked through some of these insecurities. 1. I acknowledged the things that wear wrong in my childhood to my parents. I am in the process of forgiving them as i think they also have this same aspect in their chart( like u said it can be passed on by generations) 2. I forgave them for loving my sister more than me as she is their 1st child and they are only human. 3. I was the employee in a relationship and i broke up with my bf as he did'nt want to work the issues. 4. After my break up i started to feed my moon a looottt of love and we are both fine right now if you want to know😁

One of the points of this video was that you very much can and will be a success, but you're likely doing it for the wrong reasons and it will still leave you feeling very much alone and undernourished emotionally. Fame and monetary success will still leave you feeling starved because you haven't found a real true unconditional love. Both of those things are fleeting so you must do the inner work. There is no way around it.

I have this aspect, and you’re 100% accurate. The fact, that love can come unconditionally is so foreign to me. Because of my fear of instability I only desire men who are inclined to provide. In exchange, I put so much pressure on myself to look the part for them. I feel like, if I let my looks go their love will go. For some reason this, ideology makes more sense to me than the esoteric idea of unconditional love. :/

Maybe you have some similar experience but it doesn’t mean it’s the exact same thing. Some people who have been abused use it as an excuse to abuse others because their mentality is “I experienced it, so they should too!” while some use it to have empathy, show kindness and protect others. It’s just like this story: Two twin boys were raised by an alcoholic father. One grew up to be an alcoholic and when asked what happened he said "I watched my father." The other grew up and never drank in his life. When he was asked what happened he said "I watched my father." Two boys, same dad, two different perspectives. Your perspective in life will determine your destination. He could have just gone the other way, wallowed in self pity and not do anything to improve his life but he didn’t. This video brought me to tears. There was no better time of posting it too, especially now after just having a moment of this intense unsaid energy because of fear of being rejected about your deep emotions or blocked. You know that feeling when you look at that person and your chest fills up with this feeling of emotional pain and tears start to fill in your eyes because you realized that something you said or was mentioned, reopened a hidden wound that you thought they had because every time you got near that area, they would jerk back, but they are hiding it because they are afraid of what you're going to do once you notice the pain due to a hidden wound? It hurts, because you just want to help treat the wound not make it worst, however this person just starts to pretend as if nothing is there while still blocking the area involuntary. My boyfriend has this aspect with moon in scorpions in the 1st house square Saturn in Aquarius in the 4th house. His moon conjunct Pluto in Scorpio in the 1st house. You described his past and present to the T. He's the oldest of his mother and she had him at a point where she was going through nursing school and working hard just to make it in queens, New York. His grandmother would take him along in her home health visits and he would stay in the car for sometimes hours, until she was done with patient care. He would sit in the car playing his game boy or just waiting. He'd always been around independent woman that demonstrated an authority figure in his life. The funny thing is that his mother is a nurse, his two aunts from his mom side and I am also a nurse. I'm 7 years older, he is 24 and I'm going on 31. However, he acts way older then I do. Omg, he is constantly worrying about little things in the house that I never cared about. God forbid the days we forget to turn the lights off or my son forget to throw the trash out prior to him getting home from work, his mood becomes bitter and next thing you know he's talking again about the importance of turning off the lights so we don't have to spend unnecessary money or throwing out the trash to prevent roaches. Sometimes you just get the "Go f*** yourself!" attitude; he spots things as soon as he walks in to the house. He shows his way of caring by taking on practical matters. We have had experienced intense moments, but were left unsaid because if you bring up a soft emotional moment he displayed or intensity on his behalf, you will get the cold shoulder or better yet, ignored. I feel that the unconditional love and emotions I feel are better kept under wraps; emotions don't solve anything is the energy he portrays. Me and the kids call him grandpa or Scrooge all the time! When you mentioned Mr. Scrooge, I had to show him the video! Everything you said I personally experienced it as an outsider, but it's hard to bring it to their attention because they really think that life is based on this method. Besides me calling him "Daddy" 😏, he has earned the name at home with me and the kids "Scrooge" or "grandpa." He thinks his nicknames we have for him are hilarious. We have this aspect on our synastry with my moon in Scorpio squaring his Saturn. When I'm cold and unemotional he becomes intimate, when I start to warm up, he gets cold and unemotional or I feel that my emotions inappropriate for whatever xy and z reason.To be honest though, he's taught me a lot about self-control and keeping my shit together. Omg I’m finding this 6 years later but this is so touching to me. my little 9 year old cousin has this placement with an Aquarius moon in 3rd house & Saturn in his 12th and we are the exact family you described 😭.. it’s so crazy! His mom is a nurse who works a job wayy too far for the pay so she’s gone for long hours and recently she got a boyfriend so it’s been even worse because she separates the both of them. from time to time she includes him but most of the time when she’s not at work she’s with him or friends and my cousin has to stay home with grandma to take care of, which also causes a lot of eating problems because he was never introduced to anything out of the stereotypical pizza n happy meals She escapes by leaving her problems and I noticed a generational pattern of escapism with all my aunts and uncles. Each has an addiction, abusive relationship, daydreaming parent or just absent. So that’s basically what drew me here was because I’ve been uncovering a lot of history that went on with my ancestors especially my grandmas side and this video was beyond spot on it’s genuinely crazy how it follows on, I really want to make it better somehow since I’m mostly the person who takes care of him since we also have very bad communication skills within our family(no one speaks to each other) from traumas n so I’ve learned a lot about what parts have been affected throughout my family. It’s so interesting and heartbreaking but I really want to be the best person I could for him in life. 🤍🤍

I also have this aspect. The comparison of scrooge really tired it all together so well. I have been working on myself intensively for about 4 years now and have known this challenge all too well, to the point that I actually hate Christmas and don't even exchange gifts outside of Santa giving my little one gifts. It's like running on a hamster wheel. The harder I work, the more difficult it seems to pay the bills, it never balances out. I also have lilith in my ascendant and was (What felt like) forced to leave the relationship to be able to be true to myself. He is almost 20 years older and I did think I could only have security with him but it ended up being an emotional prison I had to get free from. But I was so down by the time growing up with her resulting in separeting from her as soon as possible. Every other possibility was better than to stay live in good flat with my mum. But what if Moon Saturn hard aspect is there to actually teach you responsibility because you avoided it in previous lives. And now you need to have this harsh aspect to force you to learn. It is there for a reason. There is a certain karma there to do with the Moon area. We are not the victims. Whatever Saturn touches means an area of an extra hard work we need to put. I have this aspect with an orb of 5 degree. I also have Jupiter trine Saturn with an orb of 3 degree. The trine seems balance the square. But I don't believe in unconditional love and try to avoid responsibility by staying alone and refusing to have any kids. I don't think I have the lack and security issues but I do live a thrift life only buying necessities. I'm very surprised to find out here that so many having this aspect stay single without kid. My dear niece has this. My sister had her at 16 y/o and then 2 other little ones later on. I feel this moon saturn placement is telling me a lot about her. When seeing her she is more like a sister-parent to her siblings rather than a sister. I've had trouble feeling more from her than guilt and insecurity during our short visits. I have Saturn sq my sun and moon... aged 41 now and really trying to turn my life around with my thoughts ... it’s a full time job!!! I have had a lot of emotional abusive relationships where I was completely submissive... like many of the other comments on here I am single and happier that way because I don’t feel ready for a relationship yet - trust is a BIG issue for me - which I’m working through. My mum was very very fearful and very critical of me. The unconditional love part was very sad to hear - it struck a massive cord... This is spot on! I have this aspect in my natal chart but I actually like this aspect & my other Saturn aspects because it stabilizes, disciplines & gives structure to my otherwise fiery, impulsive Sagittarius Moon as well as to my fire heavy chart (good thing earth also predominates it as I hate fire). Though its a square but it felt more like a conjunction to me. I grew up with Capricorn Moon parents & all the guys I've been with have Moon-Saturn or Capricorn Moon.

I have been an avid student of astrology for well over a decade, and I have to say, that in my opinion, your videos are without a doubt, the best astrology videos on KZbin. You have really excellent, professional analysis and insights on the subject. And you have a very genuine and down to earth style. My only recommendation to you is this: please continue making videos with the exact same indoor sound quality and lighting quality with which you made this particular video. The sound and lighting quality of this particular video is much, much better than your other videos. For example, in your Moon in 8th house video that you filmed outdoors, it was hard to hear you, because of the sound of ducks, vehicles driving by, and leaf blowers. And the other videos that were filmed in your house, were good, but not quite as good as the sound and lighting quality of this particular video, which was filmed up close and personal to you. If you continue filming your videos the way you did in this video, your channel will probably be even more successful, because those kinds of things really improve the viewing experience of your videos. At some point, you might want to consider re-filming some of your previous videos, with better audio and lighting quality. Just an idea. I've been to two astrologers and they don't understand why I feel so worthless as I do. I've always believed its because of this aspect and now I see that its true!(THANK YOU A LOT) Its a work in progress - but I have at least realized that everything I've done uptil now is out of fear made me more casual after mars Rx. Nguyen Nguyen same here so I feel you but just note that it gets better after the 1st satur return if but big if....the first saturn return does not break you all toghether and you trully start to embrace saturn. Remember that like it or not your life will be 3 steps forward, 2 steps back so don’t compare your life to others. Nose to the grindstone is the key here 😏 and you have an amazing potential to lead others and become a rock steady person for those around you. If i can summit up, your are a rock but saturn wants to turn you into a diamond so he will burn you like no other. Most importantly you will start to love yourself and trully accept yourself. Probably because of being less than a degree, moon being in 1st as a scorpio moon with pluto conjunction and finally squares a 4th house saturn.. Yes as you said all that im doing out of safety seeking out of acceptance out of fear. My ex has this aspect. His mother is cold and emotionally unavailable, but she and her husband raised their kids with a lot of nudity in their home (Aquarius rising). I’d paid no attention to this placement in my chart until now for some reason (probably because a Saturn Return is due), but this is so, so spot on. I have moon-Pluto conjunct the ascendant, squaring Saturn in the 4th. Your way of interpretation is incredibly remarkable.

Brilliant video Jewel. My great-niece, born in 2011, whom I'm very close to, has this aspect. Capricorn asc, moon, sun, mars, north node, pluto stellium in 1st house square saturn in Libra in 10th- The moon-saturn square is exact at 16 degrees, also sun and mars in square to saturn, not exact, but close orbs. Her mother, my niece, recently married an older, wealthy man with a pedigreed status…. for security reasons mainly. He is one of the coldest, most emotionally controlling people I've ever met, (a narcissistic personality) and since my niece has been with him, she has cut off all contact with me. I haven't seen them in nearly a year (and they live a mile away from me.) It has been incredibly painful (and I am coming up to my second saturn return, and a transiting pluto square to natal venus.) In addition, my little great-niece is going through a pluto transit conjunct her natal moon, sun, mars squaring the natal saturn- This transit will cross that natal moon I think 3 or 4 times. It does feel good for my sadness to be acknowledged this is exactly how I feel. Even as a kid I knew I had to earn love. I realized pretty quickly just how fucked up my family was and how much it was fucking me up and I'm also a cancer moon so I really felt everything so deeply and my feelings were always dismissed and made fun of like always. Really makes it hard to trust other ppl. I know the best thing for me is to likely get away from my family and I know there gonna try to guilt me for cutting them off and I also struggle with the side effects of cutting them off. Nobody thinks they did anything wrong its frustrating, but I'm trying to move past it all.

My Aquarian 6th house Sun/Saturn conjunction squares my 9th/10th midheaven Moon in Taurus. I have always worked hard, from a young age, and been a very responsible person like my Mother. Feeling a sense of Security has always been a huge need, even now. I believe I have a grand cross as Mars in the 12th opposes Saturn/Sun, and squares 3rd house Scorpio Neptune which opposes the moon and squares Saturn/Sun. I've learned tomorrow is not guaranteed, so I spend as much free time as possible with loved ones and give lots of hugs. So, if I do die penniless, I will have lived fully and loved wholeheartedly.

One of my sisters and I both have this. I have Cancer rising so Moon lords my chart in Sag in the 6th while she has Cap rising and Saturn lords hers in Cancer in the 7th. I think she struggles with much of the getting stuck in the past stuff than I do. She has some codependency with a sister too. I am independent, do take opportunities and try new things but I also have faith in God and I think that is the huge difference - the Sag side. She is an atheist and a much darker minded person. She repeats the same things and somehow expects change. I have made huge goals and achieved amazing things I once never thought I could do so I would like to believe I have overcome some of the difficulties of this. I do still worry about poverty and homelessness in the back of my mind though due to my impoverished upbringing. Both of my parents were abusive and my mother was very cold. I am a very generous person and so is my sister but we are both compassionate due to our own struggles and understanding them in others. She is more artistic, beautiful and creative while I am analytical and a scientist. I am loner though. I consider myself asexual.
