I had a very codependent relationship with my mother growing up. She's a single mom, and I'm the youngest and only boy. We really struggled financially, and so I became involved with managing finances at a very young age; and was acutely aware of how little money we had. Thankfully, we have always had a very close relationship and have since redefined our boundaries in a healthy way. She is the strongest person I know, and I love her so much. I have a grand trine in water, anchored by my moon in Pisces, so I've always been good at discerning people's intentions; but I do still struggle with always assuming the best in people at first. I also used to think a relationship would fix all of my problems (I'm gay and always thought an older man could save me), but with Venus in Sag I hate being tied down; and now that I've gotten older I realize that I need to just focus on myself, and fix my own problems (and am SO much happier now). I have realized, like you said, that no one will make me happy, so I have to make myself happy. I'm a Scorpio sun, so I'm very stubborn and independent; I love being single now. I also really resonated, though, with the "lack of contentment" part. I've always been extremely restless, but very ambitious (Scorpio).; but I do always find myself pursuing something new that "will make me happy." From learning a new skill, to working out, to a relationship, to anything. Also, "the hunger for what Venus needs" really resonated, as well. My Venus is in Sag, and all I want do in life is travel. All of my career goals are so that I can have enough money to travel. I just want to see the world. So, basically this video super resonated with me. Thank you so much.

I’m just now starting to really understand this side of me and she nailed right on the head. This is why it’s so hard for me to actually allow myself to be in a relationship with anyone. Why it’s so easy for me to discard men when I’m “bored” or when my initial emotions calm and I realize I’m not as interested in this person like I thought I was. I have this aspect and a couple weeks ago I wasn't out yet to some of my friends, not because I was scared rather I was avoiding the situation altogether since I have never been in a relationship "so there is no point." Well... this guy asked to buy me a drink and at first I was oblivious to what he meant because no one's ever flirted with me before in my life and I'm 21 (sad, but true) and then it was the realization that I wasn't being honest with people who've known me for years. I clearly wasn't ready for a relationship, if I accepted the offer I would've been afraid what my friends would've thought and in a way I was scared of adult intimacy since I'm so inexperienced. In hindsight, I wish I said yes, but now I have the confidence in knowing that there's always a possibility of someone wanting to get to know me on a deeper level.

I almost cried when you said: "You can be happy". Because in my last relationship (with the father of my child), I lost a real real love, I felt really happy and all the sudden it was super uncomfortable because I felt insecure with every little thing that he was doing at the time and begin to feel that "this is not my place, I don't feel valued here" but then again, as my other 2 relationships before I always felt that way, so definitely was my fault this time too. All I can say is men fall ecstatically in love with me very quickly, then shortly after a few weeks to a few months they become very uninterested. I have just discovered recently that there is more to astrology than just horoscopes or sun signs and it truly amazed me. I wonder how would this manifest if the moon is in aquarius in 12th house squaring venus in taurus in the 3rd? Sag moon square Pisces Jupiter & Venus. True I did have a habit of "trying people on" so I never invested in my friendships like I should've when I was younger. Interestingly enough, I am good at discerning between good ppl and users but thats thanks to my moon conjunct Pluto. 9/10 I always end up keeping this person around anyway. Whenever I met people who were nice to me/we just clicked I would subconsciously distance myself away from them because the notion of someone being kind to me was so foreign. I fortunately never sold myself short, I actually have a great deal of confidence and entitlement when wanting what I want! This has allowed me to achieve financial independence at a young age.

My father has this aspect and he has always been unaccessible. Unfortunately I repeated similar relationships with men, falling for unaccessible men cause my daddy has never been there. His moon in piscis had me tricked that he was a good father for a long time. I only realized with 40 after a horrible rs with a psychopath that my dad has never been the man that he appeared- piscis moon, he never spent time with me nor nurtured me- venus sag. He always said he loved me while leaving the house - sag venus superficial parenting. Yet my dad is popular and everyone loves him - sag venus, but not enough good dad for me. He always preferred to be with other people. I loved him due to his piscis moon -sensitivity, that was a promise that never came into fruition. Husband and I both have this aspect. We have been married 21 years. lol Though no relationship is perfect, I would venture to say we both have been largely satisfied. This video is interesting, but I wish it was less fixed and offered more possible interpretations other than people with this placement come from unhealthy, unsatisfied mothers (absolutely not true) and thus are never satisfied nor are their partners; not very encouraging, and certainly does not apply to me at all.

I agree even though I'm currently single at the moment and don't mind. I have a wonderful relationship with my mother. My Venus is in Sagittarius and moon in Pisces both of them being mutable and also having the same ruling planet (Jupiter) traditionally and Neptune ruling Pisces which I personally thinks makes this Square (in any other Square between those two signs or mutables in general) easier to deal with or solve especially compared to fixed signs (no hate).

Looking at all of my hard aspects today. This along with another moon square to chiron and mars square neptune and opposite jupiter. It's depressing to say the least. I understand now why being single is just so much easier for me than a relationship. It's painful but there are just too many pitfalls of all of these aspects for me to even feel it's worth it. I understand intellectually that self love is the answer to all of it and I try so hard to love myself but there's still something missing and not knowing what that is is the worst.

I have the same hard aspects as you. I don't struggle with them as much anymore, so I just wanted to give you some hope. I made some mistakes and learned some hard lessons. What ultimately helped me was learning to completely love and accept myself. You can't ask someone to love you, if you don't love you. Insecurity destroys relationships. Be kind to yourself. The more critical you are of yourself, the more critical you'll be with others. I also used mindfulness, wrote out positive affirmations and goals for myself every day. I looked up CBT techniques and used those too. I have been married for over 10 years now. We have ups and downs like any relationship. But we're faithful to each other, and love each other so much. Infatuation is fleeting. Lasting love isn't just a sensation. It feels less exciting sometimes, but is worth so much more. Put the work in and in the end deep love, trust and enduring attraction develops.

Very interesting. My boyfriend of almost 2 years has this aspect (Moon also conjunct Saturn) and I found that he was very quick to commit fully and prove his loyalty to me almost instantly. He's always saying that relationships have good and bad moments but that we love each other at the end of the day. He's a Taurus with Venus in the 8th house. Perhaps this is why?

I have libra moon opposite saturn in aries as well as Capricorn venus square moon. I did the exact same thing as your bf. Basically decided I was gonna marry my boyfriend a few months into our relationship. There definitely was a part of me in the beginning that thought that being with him would solve a bunch of my personal issues and really tried to push him away because I didn't feel I was good enough for him, but those feelings have almost completely dissipated since then. I identify with this video, but it definitely seems secondary to saturn-moon issues.

Whoa, I don’t have this aspect - I have moon square mars with a bunch of planets in the 4H - but it resonated with me. Venus/Uranus conjunct makes me restless, even afraid to make a commitment for fear I’ll have to ‘deal’ with people’s ‘stuff’ and I don’t want to. I’ve dealt with stuff and I’m done dealing with stuff. Also, moon in libra gives rose colored glasses. What I’ve learned is to allow the glasses to come off, and see the person for who they are. Also, I like a relationship, but I also need a certain amount of freedom to expand. I wonder if the moon square mars plus Venus conj Uranus gives this.

Same here, although it doesnt show up as a square in my natal chart. I have this strong urge to bond and be free. Have a lot of space but also have none? Im rather an evolved Moon in Scorpio so I dont get into relationships when I know I am capable of cheating and now I would definiately not do it but Im still scared and Its hard to find one person to match my relationship needs. I so much want to be in a relationship and feel loved that whenever I see myself frustrated in being with someone I think about killing myself.
