Thank you so much for this video! All your videos make learning Rhino so simple! 🙂 I tried the Boolean union at the end, but everything except the diamond got united. Could you please where could I have gone wrong?

I cannot tell without seeing the model. I have several videos explain why boolean doesn't work. you may want to check them out!

If you were to have this pendant cast would you need to make any changes to the CAD model? For example the bezel setting is currently set already- would you modify that? Would you make the setting bigger to account for shrinkage?

I am trying to use the CreateUVCrv comand but only one quarter of the surface is being selected. How can I get the entire surface to be projected to plane as in your video?

You may have a seam on your surface. you can rebuild your curve into a degree 3 curve before you make it into surface.
