Despite all the controversy regarding the origin of their money, she did have great taste in jewels. I see she loved her colored diamonds with just an occasional detour into jadeite, pearls, and emeralds (and, of course, the ruby ring). All stunning jewels and much to my personal taste.

With all due respect, I’ve been exposed to this lifestyle since birth. When you arrive to any of the important jewelry houses on Earth, say Place Vendôme, as soon as you enter the door they know if you are going to buy and a good sales person will make sure your money’s worth will be provided to you, they will properly guide you in case your taste is not educated enough, without being pushy nor inadequate in the process. It is money that dictates your good taste potential.

I’m sure everyone here knows the genesis of how her husband obtained his retail empire during WWII in Nazi Germany. That said her collection is magnificent. Although I’d be very curious to see how the people who now possess these blood jewels feel about owning them. Perhaps it’s a shrug of the shoulders for them and doesn’t matter.

An amazing collection I knew the ruby ring at the start was the most expensive piece since rubies that large and eye clean are exceptionally rare...but so many beautiful pieces from renowned jewelry houses...I can't wait for part 2

Just read Christi’s CXL’d the auction after Jewish organizations and charities REFUSED to accept any monies from this auction! Whoa!!!!!😳 Now that is horrendous!!!! Not sure how Christi’s did that, but oh boy, do they detest them! “Per Wikipedia”

Collection is incredible but I question the creator’s prices at which these pieces sold. I noticed every piece was between 2 to 4.5 million dollars. Yes those are high prices to say the least. But some of these pieces would sale for much much more in an auction. For example the 6.5 fancy vivid pink diamond ring, that could easily go for 8 to upwards of 12 million dollars depending on the diamond Class and actual size any colored diamond that is greater than 3 carrots and high quality can be astronomically high. Second piece was the 1924 art deco Van. Cleef and appear. Something that rare and steeped in history and in tact quality wise would sale for 6to 13 million dollars easily not 2 million. WHAT. And last are the 1978 fancy yellow diamond earrings again Van Cleef and apparels 25 plus carrots each plus the platinum and white diamonds 20 million easily not the price they listed. But yes what a stunning collection of absolutely beautiful, iconic historic pieces.

LOL, Her taste was whatever her husband's family had confiscated in WWll. That's why the collection is so eclectic. He stole everything, no discernment, just grab, grab, grab. Music's nice, isn't it? 😢😢

Just a heartbreaking reminder of the suffering in WWII inflicted by the Nazis. The true ugliness of the Nazis is not softened a bit by the sparkling jewels. It only makes them the possession of a narcissistic woman who would sell herself to the highest, and oldest bidder! 32 yrs older! Can you imagine the real price SHE paid to adorn herself! I simply can’t! Vanity in its highest form. Such a shame. But evil wins, always! 😢😢😢😢 As much as we pray right will win, look at history and see who flourished! It’s not the good guys! I don’t believe in A Heaven, so in my book, they are home Scott free! No Karma, no paying the piper, just a great big FU to the decent people. I’m sure Miss Heidi looked spectacular around those of HER kind. But certainly not of mine! They are still laughing! All the way from the grave 😢 I’m SO sorry I watched this. It only remind’s me of the horrible injustice in the world.
