Nice jewie I haven't been able to get my first 1. Probably been doing something wrong, I have been going in Newcastle harbour for the past couple months using live yakkas on the ingoing tide. I have tried dyke point and the bridge but all I catch are massive stingrays

Its my dream to catch jewies as reliably as you do in the middle of the day inshore. Do you sound them up most of the time or just know where theyll be sitting? I'm going to have to put a lot of effort into landing my first one this winter as they're pretty depleted where I am but if I dont get them you will bro. cheers for the rig explanation at the end as well, tight lines

I occasionally pick them up on side scan they don't like going under the boat to much on the downscan. I mainly look for the bait, once I cast 360 degress I move on. Unfortunately it's alot of cast to find them. See you on the next one mate 👍

Hate to tell you this but i could not for the life of me make out what you were doing when tying the knots as it was lost in the background of your white shirt. Maybe closer camera and against a dark background would be better. Having said that i'm always inspired to get out in the lake and wet a line after see your vids. Tight lines.
