I am also Jewish. My mother's family were Jewish from Russia, Hungary, and Poland. My father was Italian Catholic. I was not a believer most of my life. I accepted Christ a few years ago. Best decision I ever made. I prayed for my son, who is an adult, was also not a believer, and had addiction problems. He accepted Christ on his own and has been sober almost a year now. I am so happy to hear that Jewish people can also see into the truth because it's more difficult IMO for them than others. My brother married a Jewish woman who is so sweet and great family so I pray for them to find truth. We are of Polish, Russian decent and not sure if anywhere may be part Jewish myself. I am not Jewish, but whenever I hear a Jewish brother or sister come to Jesus, it brings me joy and a smile. When I first met Jesus the first person I gave a Bible to an elderly Jewish man who I respected as a great person. He was always so cheerful with a big smile and greeted me with a joyful heart. He told me later that he gave the bible away to one of his workers. I was a little saddened at the time but when I look back I wish I could have done a little more to speak about Jesus to him.

Don't be discouraged at all, maybe his worker became a believer! And don't put yourself down. We learn as we go. I was baptized in a Jewish congregation and that year I was working for a company with a lot of Jewish workers. I made mistakes but I'm glad I tried with the knowledge I had and the passion I had to share the faith with some of them. I got laid off and with the money I was given in compensation I was able to finish my thesis on Martin Luther!

This is awesome. I have a Jewish background but my parents were both Christian. I was so Blessed to be raised in that home. I was saved at age 13. I was badly abused in my marriage, in fact, my husband tried to murder me. Jesus has saved me physically quite a few times. In 2023 in Australia (I’m Canadian) I was healed of neck pain and back pain caused by severe arthritis and damage from 2 car accidents and a fall. I never had a day without that pain. Jesus healed it all and I praise him for that. He is my Lord, my Saviour, my friend and my King!

My father, thanks to my mother, did accept Christ but had trouble believing in the Bible. He was a very smart man and based his thoughts on logic. He told me, that after struggling with it, he came upon the idea that he was going to 'have the faith of a child' and not worry about 'connecting the dots with logic', etc. He was just going to believe that God loved him, that Jesus died for him, and the rest was in God's Hands. I tell people, the 5 words to remember are 'The Lord is my Shepherd'. THAT covers EVERYTHING, this life and the next.

I was saved through a dramatic experience with Jesus Christ. I was an opiate addict for over a decade. I was blinded by sunlight, felt a warm relaxing feeling if love, joy, and peace. I was filled with the Holy Spirit. I had a vision of my now wife walking in heaven, and then Jesus answered me in an audible voice. My wife was raised Jewish. She is the most beautiful person ive met. Unfortunately she has muscular dystrophy and lost the ability to walk about 5 years after we met. But shes a fighter. She supports my faith. 37 years as an atheist...and Jesus is the only way. My life and my families lives changes for the better once we accepted Christ. My coming to Christ was very much like Jeff's. I was working in a facility for juvenile sex offenders, and the level of evil I was encountering on a daily basis was mind bending and soul destroying. I always believed in Jesus but never let it affect my life, but it was in the background. Then this year I sought out Jesus and He came. He transformed me without me knowing- suddenly stopped swearing, no heavy drinking, less angry and impatient. I’m still on the road as I have setbacks but He is with me. First, could you explain what this book says the Romans’ reasonings would be for staging Jesus’ resurrection - personally this seems odd if they had just very publicly and gruesomely murdered him. Aside from that though, there is evidence to support the supernatural resurrection of Christ. I’ll share a few! First, there are many eyewitness accounts of Jesus interacting with his followers and others post His death and burial. There are personal recordings of this (specifically thinking of the apostles Matthew and John, and later Paul) who write of their own experience seeing the risen Christ. Not only that, but the original disciples of Jesus (aside from I believe only John), experienced horrible deaths at the expense of their beliefs. For all of these disciples to willingly die gruesome and torturous deaths for something that could have been a lie or a coverup - is not something that people do. I know I wouldn’t die for something I didn’t 100% believe in. The Gospel accounts were written extremely close, historically speaking, to the life and death of Jesus. Within the same lifetime. The closest manuscripts we have for Alexander the Great, for example, are from hundreds of years after his death. Yet we have men who walked with Jesus and witnessed His resurrection writing their testimony of it within their lifetimes. To go back to your original question, I have a few thoughts and some questions (that are not necessarily towards you but just the idea of the Romans covering up Jesus’ death). For one, I don’t understand to what benefit this would be to the Romans. Why would they go out of their way to stage (which what would it mean for them to “stage” it) the Resurrection when they so deliberately executed Jesus? Are they saying that His followers staged it? If so - leads me back to my point of them not dying for a lie. If the Romans did stage it, why would Jesus’ disciples corroborate a Roman lie over who they believe to be their Messiah, who the Romans had just publicly executed, and then write about false experiences of conversations and interactions they had with Jesus after rising from the dead, just for them to later be executed as well? I could 100% be misinterpreting exactly what you’re meaning, so please forgive me if I am! I don’t believe this idea is very common in other places (at least not here in America like you mentioned). It’s hard not to feel that it might be a thought deliberately placed on young people to discourage them from pursing faith. Lastly, have you read the New Testament before? Because of Jesus Christ, who atoned for our sins, we can repent and forgive. Death isn’t final. I know Jesus Christ because He’s there in my life every moment. He’s with me, and with all of us. We never have to be alone. If you have a relationship with Him you know it’s not a made up story. And the beautiful thing is that He is in relentless pursuit of you and loves you more than I can fully express. And this is why I feel you’re here commenting today. It’s because you feel something and are seeking more. Yes, the world is unbelieving, but know that there are those of us that know He lives! And we shall all see Him again one day to come and according to God’s timing. Until then(although our faith may be as small as a tiny mustard seed) it can steadily grow as we pray, read scripture, and seek to draw closer to Christ. Ask and ye shall find because He hears you, sees you, and knows you better than you know yourself. You have no better friend than our Savior.

I love this. I also am a Jewish believer in Y'shua. I worked with the homeless population in Sonoma County for 4 years, and taught Bible study at the Redwood Gospel Mission. I also stressed that the Gospels are eyewitness accounts, and I would ask "How many witnesses does it take in a court of law to establish a fact?" They would answer only 2. Then I would show them in Acts 1 it says there were over 500 witnesses. I asked "Why would over 500 people lie about something if they had nothing to gain from it?" In the years following the Resurrection, many believers were put to death for their belief. Why would someone die for something they knew to be a lie? Keep on keepin' on brothers.

There are still righteous Jews that follow the covenant. They just don't know that the covenant (the word of God) was made flesh, yet they may follow him even better than you or I. The Messiah came to call the sinner. There were righteous Jews following him long before he was born and continue to even today. Example: _Luke 1:5 There was in the days of Herod, the king of Judaea, a certain priest named Zacharias, of the course of Abia: and his wife was of the daughters of Aaron, and her name was Elisabeth._ _Luke 1:6 And they were both righteous before God, walking in all the commandments and ordinances of the Lord blameless._

Rely felt the presence of the Holy Spirit as I reflected on Jeff's testimony. My grandfather from Cologne, Germany was Jewish. My grandmother, a Scot, was descended from Alexander Hamilton. No religion or faith was preached in their home with 7 children and a constant flow of business contacts coming for dinner what time was there for God in lower Manhattan New York City at the turn of the century in the decades before the Great Depression. However my Mother always loved the Jewish people and passed that love to me. It was only thru the saving love of Jesus that delivered me from Alcohol, turned me to church and Bible study beginning July 24, 2000. Three years later I was blessed with the Holy Spirit and gift of speaking in Tongues. That is what started me on the true journey of self discovery and identity, grounding myself in the Word of God both Old and New Testament, Although the Gospel was first to the Jew and then the Gentile, the prophecy of the Jews coming to faith in Christ is being fulfilled day by day, season by season and year by year

However, I could be wrong. I think the majority of Jews can read anything they want. There may be an exception where the Ultra Orthodox are concerned.

In the NYC area, including NJ, all the same. Just as this Dr states, it was completely Judeo-Christian. We went to church, they went to temple. Our friends were Jewish and Catholic, we played, we ate, went to concerts - we did everything together. Religion didn't separate us. I married a Jewish man, neighbors married Jewish girls, my brother married a Jewish girl ... I can completely identify with the Dr. In the '70s around the Wall Street area there were vans that had Jews For Jesus written on them. I used to go in and talk to them, as a Roman Catholic. That’s the way salvation came to my wife and I, the same day in Sunday School before the preaching. The teacher shared the gospel with us, we were in our early twenties and newly married. We both had a child from previous marriages. That was 47 years ago on a Father’s Day. Glory to God, Jesus Christ has set me free!!

What a wonderful testimony from this very intelligent forensic dentist. Praise the Lord. I didn’t find Jesus until I was in my 50s and now I’m 81 and I think Him every day for my salvation. I became fascinated by forensics after watching shows on TV so last year I purchased two books on the subject and, wow, did I learn so much. Listening to this dentist, I’ve learned even more. When my middle son started studying he would come to us and say, “I’m ready to get baptized.” I would ask him why. He would give me the right answer because he grew up in the church but in his eyes he wasn’t ready. The last time he said he was ready to get baptized. His head was lowered and he quietly and soberly told me the reason why he believes he’s ready to commit his life to Jesus. And he did.

One of the best Jewish testimonies I have ever heard. I have heard several very powerful Jewish testimonies but this man is telling about the Jewish way of thinking and really the way that people of various different cultures think. “I’m a good person! I don’t need Jesus.” They really believe that their good works impress God so much that God will overlook the fact that they rejected Jesus. When I was looking for the Lord I began reading the New Testament. I didn’t want to know if religion was real. Religion had done nothing for me. I knew that Jesus was real. I wanted to know Him. I wanted Him to reveal himself to me. I wanted to know that he was still involved in the lives of people as He was in the Gospels and the book of Acts. He still seemed very far from me. I wanted to know the Jesus that the letters spoke of. Religion had not given me that. God is merciful. I am not a Jew but the Lord rescued me and pulled me out of “deep waters.” He delivered me from things that I did not even know were there. When He got done pouring His Spirit into me I was washed. I knew Him….not like the saints in heaven but I was able to live and walk daily with Him. He gave me revelation of His word that I never had before. His word became really alive to me. The Bible says that “the god of this world has blinded the eyes of those who do not believe.” We are all blinded until we receive that new spirit and the Holy Spirit that Christ enabled us to receive. Jesus, the Christ, is very real and wants to reveal himself to all of us. Seek and you will find. Some people give up too soon and settle for religion instead of that relationship that He wants to have with every believer.

I'm a Jewish convert. I had a dramatic conversion over a dozen years ago.. My life went downhill and I was for the first time desperately sought out God.. I poured through the Old Test prophecies.. there were so many. I can't figure how anyone cannot see it.. After 3 months of heart searching.... I pointed Isaiah 53 to God and said " Lord I believe this" Us Jews are brainwashed to think a curse will come on us if we believe in Jesus, but it was revealed to me.... that the opposite is true.. When I believed in my heart through the prophecies... That Jesus was for real.. all the turmoil and hellish problems departed.. sweet peace arrived.. I haven't drank a drop of booze in 15 years, lost 65 lb, I'm vegan which is beyond kosher, I keep The Seventh-Day Sabbath, because that's the true Lord's Day. The Catholics changed it.. which perfectly fulfill an antichrist prophecy. Daniel 7:25.. As long as Jews keep following rabbis they will be forfeit eternity..
