It’s the modern era Christian that stands up for the truth about “ love your neighbour” and “ thou shalt not kill”. Then there are the evangelical Christians who justify War and killing but using the same Bible. The brutality of the so called modern day Israelites against the Palestinians is there for all to see but they believe it’s not genocide and also quote from the Bible. Haven’t you noticed how the Western powers justify their murderous wars by also quoting from the Bible? it’s a simple case of using the Bible to justify their evil deeds. If Moses came down from the mountain with the Commandments in which one says “ thou shalt not kill” it simply means that. No “ ifs” “no buts”. That is, their breaking of the peace treaty and collaborating in trying to kill the Prophet and the Muslims. There’s absolutely nothing objectionable here. He arrested and executed war criminals. He’s responsible for an entire state and forgiving them would have led to their regrouping and launching further attacks. I mean, all this is REALLY straightforward. As for the particular sentence and who proposed it, yes. That’s what I meant. I didn’t mean the man was from Bani Qurayza and I wasn’t trying to suggest that he wasn’t a Muslim or saying anything about his ethnicity. Bottom line is that executing combatants that ere guilty of treason (much worse than just an enemy force that has been defeated because these people are living beside you peacefully and you don’t expect aggression from them) such a sentence is not genocide. In fact, if we were to do a DETAILED analysis of this particular event, further proofs could be extracted for why the Prophet ( upon him be blessings and peace) really was who he claimed to be.
