Interesting vid, in my limited experience of being a Jewish expat visiting Koh Lanta, spent 3 months in total and heading back in a few weeks, the locals Muslims not only didn't seem care I was a Jew but some seemed to barely know, or didn't, what it was or at least understand the worldly implications. As for Buddhist Thai's I've met very few who even know what a Jew is, usually just replying something like "that's nice".

It surprises me that his family was reluctant to accept her. Most Muslim scholars could confirm that Muslim men are allowed to marry women from the Book, meaning Christians and Jews. Men, on the other hand, cannot marry Muslim women unless they embrace Islam themselves.

Mayaan is Israeli not Israelian... also she needs to get her info facts in order incase of possible "maybe"?future situations... Her husband's family are not educated in their religion. In the Muslim religion it is very Clearly Written... that a Muslim man can marry a Jewish or Christian woman. That they do Not Have To change their religion. It is also very Clearly Written... that a person should be left alone to practice their faith in God as they want and only should convert to the Muslim religion if they freely want to. Hi Mayan,your storyline is nearly the same like mine 😭😭I’m Christian and his Muslim from West Sumatra,the different is,you still together.😊we are not together anymore 😭. His family very Hypocrite they never straight come to my face to said if they don’t like me or they don’t agree to our relationship,they only tell all to my boyfriend😡. My boyfriend the one told me for everything what his family said about our relationship and what they trying to do to can make us separated. His family like go to different Voodoo place,looking for another girl to be his wive,and put mantra in they are shop when I’m there to visit him. And the worse part his family still don’t accepting me when he told his family when I’m starting learning and agree converting to Muslim😤 At first i thought our relationship is strong and we will be together forever. We will fight and face it together all our problems and struggles we had from his family. And we will married and together forever. But i was wrong🥹in the end he was giving up to our relationship and his family win. One day out of the blue when we had dinner my boyfriend told me that he wants to broke up with me and finished our relationship he choose back to his family and he will marrying other woman that his family chose for him. You can imagine how shocked I’m? After we broke up my life is frustrated,many months my life in miserable and sad. But Thank God i have Jesus as my saviour. he guides me to a better life and and better man to marry 😂 Maybe from the start our fate not mean together. Sometimes I’m thinking what kind of life i having if I’m still with him?? If only from the difficulty and problems we gave already so heavy and difficult 🤔 Now I’m bee married with Australian man for 23 years 😊 My Lord Jesus saved me from him and his family.Amin🙏🏽😘
